As a qualified nurse can i just say that injecting the tongue or mouth without *extensive* knowledge of the structures and medical implications, could result in a cardiac arrest, anaphylactic shock (severe allergic reaction) and ultimately death. I hope this was an appropriately trained and qualified practitioner.
Excuse me but could you please explain to me why people who get tongue injections are at risk for cardiac arrest? The only reason I can think about is that the numbing stuff could go into the bloodstream where it does not belong. Unfortunately a quick Google search did not help otherwise I wouldn't bother you with my questions 😅
Do any millennials here remember stick-on "earrings"? They were just jewel stickers you could put on your ear lobes but I was an "edgy" 8 year old and usually put them around my eye because I thought it looked neat. That's as close as I'll ever get to getting anything done around my eyes.
I'm not a Millennial, but I remember them. They came out in my junior or senior year of high school (graduated in '92). I went to a Christian school and some parents wouldn't let their kids get their ears pierced and used the stickers. It worked for most of them except for the girl whose mom was the 8th grade teacher. How are you going to hide your ears from your mom when you are going to run into her throughout your day? 🙄
Forgive me Roly for I have sinned. When I was a teenager, I pierced the webbing between my thumb and forefinger with the ear stud from my Claires ear piercing. Due to my teenage ability to heal, it actually was fine for a while but over time it rejected until one day it painlessly popped off. That is my confession, amen
As one of those people, and an American who doesn't have access to health care like y'all do, I appreciate you getting upset about that. I wish more people cared like that. I wish more people understood how lucky they are to have their health or access to free or proper health care.

This was probably commented somewhere before but I'm ex mormon and in the church you are not allowed to have any piercings except for 1 pair of earrings in the lobe. You're not allowed to have piercings anywhere else in the ear or even multiple holes in the lobe like- it's very stressed that anything more than 1 hole in each ear is immodest or something. And definitely no face piercings or anything like that. So I can understand this person 35:36 being excited to break the rules after leaving such an oppressive awful religion, I've gone through that myself after leaving, but they really should've spaced it out. It's important to pace yourself after leaving high control groups like that since the impulse is to just do everything that wasn't allowed as soon as possible.

Hello fellow exmo!! One of the first really "rebellious" things I did after leaving the church (aside from starting to drink coffee) was getting my nostril pierced. It seems so normal to everyone else, but going from a molly mormon to having piercings was huge.
It's not against the religion, it's just frowned upon. I'm LDS and I currently have five piercings, and I plan on getting a tattoo and four more piercings. Mormons just don't like things that make them uncomfortable such as body modifications.
@@EveAndHerThieves "Just frowned upon" is a pretty big deal in a cult though. Or in any extremely judgemental, small, society. Just imagine the constant looks and comments etc.

I saw that first video and having a split tongue that was done with local numbing, I can tell you: guaranteed that the anesthesia hurts MORE than the piercing would.
I recently pierced my aunt and niece, my aunt was so surprised that I washed my hands so often and put on new gloves , she has often been to jewelers that use a gun to shoot the earring in the ears, so she has never seen how it really works. I as a 20 year old find it kinda shocking that adults don't know how to prevent infections and such, why don't they know a lot of medical things that I do know??
The 11 piercing thing is crazy! I once said to my piercer on the phone that I was planning on getting three at once and she immediately was like we will look at your state after like two piercings and then decide whether I could get the third or not. I really love her for prioritizing me and my health instead of the money she could get out of it! 🥺
For anyone concerned, the bird's a baby dove or pigeon, when the chicks want food they kind of push into the parent's body and shove their beak up into the beak of the parent and the parent regurgitates food for it. I've hand raised some, and when they want food they push into your hand and shove their beak into places like between your fingers or into your watch band or up your sleeve and stand up and push quite vigorously, squeak-squeal, and shrug-flap their wings like that. Just gently putting the gap between my fingers around the beak of a chick that may have been weak from being abandoned by the parents can immediately trigger a begging response and get them wanting to try to feed, it's pretty automatic. It was probably on her shoulder snuggling and may have snuggled her ear, got set off and started begging and pushing into her piercing just because it's a place it could put its beak. Though it looks like it's struggling this is exactly what they do when they beg, the bird would be okay, it's not stuck, just determined, that's how they get because they think finding a gap like that means there should be food coming but it isn't so they try harder, she'd just need to pick the bird up and away from her ear and preferably not let it where it could do that again.
idk it looks like a cult. Doesn't change the actions, but I do wonder about the levels of consent of every person in that disgusting underground facility. I imagine there is peer pressure here, I find it absolutely terrifying.
it’s probably a piercing play ritual. look up “piercings with scott” and watch his ‘eggplant’ piercing story. he describes something a lot like what we saw in the video. it’s just a spiritual way to get pierced. the blade action roly mentions was possibly scarification which is just another type of body mod. it’s not for everyone but definitely not anything as bad as you think.

Wouldn't getting your tongue injected... still hurt? You might as well just go straight to the piercing. Not only that, but it is incredibly risky to have a completely numb tongue, especially with a new piercing. It's bad enough when the dentist causes a little numbness in the tongue, but this seems like a very bad idea. That said, some local anaesthetic has an added ingredient to reduce bleeding, so perhaps they use it as much for that, but they did inject a lot. I have watched Dr Pimple Popper use far less than that when excising a whole cyst. I would think you would need to be a licensed doctor to use an injectable anaesthetic, too?
I've gotten local anesthesia and I guess I'm a special case cause even the one administering me the anesthesia was surprised it didn't hurt? Idk she also did it slowly and carefully
The girl with the the piercing gun: OMG that hurts Me and everybody else: No shit, you think? Moron. Also, how does the man with the insanely stretched nasalang breathe? I don't have any piercings in my nose right now and it's hard for me to breathe sometimes. Mind blowing the things you can stretch.
As a A&E nurse, I wouldn't recommend numbing your tongue,as there's a chance you could bite through your actual tongue and not realize it,as most injectable anesthesia, takes a while to wear off.

20:05 I managed to INHALE my piercing and ended up in A&E. I was changing the ring and coughed out of nowhere. Had to go be checked to see if it had ended up in my lungs (thankfully, it hadn't). I was there around handover/shift change, and you could tell when they got to me because all at once, all the staff turned to look at me 🥲💀 I'd rather not have gone, but it wasnt worth the risk, especially with my already bad health. I would definitely NOT do what that person did. Accidentally inhaling it/possibly getting it stuck was enough trauma. They also did an endoscopy of my nose/throat to see if it was in my sinuses. During that, I found out that i have larger than average tonsils, like thanks for letting me know?
Various docs/nurses said I did the right thing and overall if I hadn't gone and something had happened because I didn't go straight away it would've taken more resources in the long run
I’m convinced that that one scene in the parent trap made all of us think that it’s reasonable and ok to pierce your own ears with a sewing needle, some ice, and an apple in order to pass as your secret British twin
I hear you with the heat and makeup. I got my Superdrug delivery today, excitedly applied winged eyeliner, mascara, concealer and lipstick, then watched it slide of my face before i could blot my lips 😂
My tongue piercing was the least painful. I'm extremely uncomfortable with a non medical provider injecting numbing agents into someone. That's terrifying. He also never asparated that needle! Like how do you know you didnt hit a vein, you can put someone cardiac arrest if you inject lidocaine into a vein.
9:00 we have to also point out she is using the same earring over and over after it already pierced the skin. Let's just give ourselves hep while piercing our tragus from using a now dirty earring 6x on one hole. FFS SMH
The guy writh the hoop on his face, reminds me of how my eyebrow piercing was ripped out at a club. The guy I was dancing next to me got too close and his hoop caught on my eyebrow jewelry and it was ripped out, blood everywhere and I never replaced it. This was back in 1996. I have a pretty noticeable scar. Don't get hoops on your face, because it can latch on and rip someone's piercing out if it catches on their jewelry. The only facial piercing I have left is my labret.

Omg… I love the demon eye color! And the one where they have the X and weird bones… I have to agree on that one.
Thank you
"People don't know how dirt and germs work." - exactly why the pandemic was as bad as it was.
YOU ARE PUTTING A NEEDLE INTO THE TOUNGE TO NUMB IT. YOU MAY AS WELL JUST DO THE PIERCING ALREADY.
Right!!? 😂
I've been binging these vids for far too long... So glad I've got a new one lol.
Thanks for another great vid Roly! 💕
I'll have to tell you some of my old
piercing horror stories sometime -
got a few mad tales lol
I’m convinced that that one scene in the parent trap made all of us think that it’s reasonable and ok to pierce your own ears with a sewing needle, some ice, and an apple in order to pass as your secret British twin
I’m sure it did! My old housemate said he did his back as a kid because of that
Your reactions actually crack me up you’re videos honestly make my day ❤
lol, that’s a sheep, 🐑 it’s really cute 🥰
i’m getting my first tattoo tomorrow (well technically today)! just had to watch a roly video before i go to sleep, keep the nerves at bay :D
Hi roly! This is actually crazy!! Your my fav yt person❤
Thank you!!!
@@RolyWestYT omg ROLY YOU COMMENTED ON MY COMMENT!!!!
He is genuinly so hilarious and lovely
“This is gods country” HE WASNT EVEN FROM HERE 😭 literally my thought process anytime I hear someone say that in the United States
That bird getting stuck in the gauge is upsetting and the butterfly piercing play is giving other mother vibes
Ugh, I’m so disturbed by the little bird in the ear hole! Roly I love the lavender lenses.🫶🏼
Roly, I have been watching you
for years and I always brighten my day with your videos. 🥰❤️
Hi Roly! Missed you! Glad to see you!🙂❤
I had my nipples pierced in the 90s by a nurse. My GP gave me local anaesthetic and syringes! She was qualified to inject and it made it all bearable.
That woman doing piercing play naked in the warehouse gave me GOUT and now I'm DEAD
You have my favorite tattoo sleeve I have ever seen in my life. I absolutely love them!!!!
It doesn't make you an old man, it makes you a socially responsible adult!
Another fantastic video Roly ❤
"You can breathe in 5D" is WILD 🤣💜
😂😂😂
I thought the Simpsons plugs were cookies 🤦♀️😂😂
"Now you can smell in 5d" has me rolling 🤣
This is random, but the Megaman Apple Market music in the background gave me such a hit of nostalgia, haha. Always adore these videos, Roly!! ❤
Yesss the Zelda music, too!!! I can't believe I didn't hear it before in other videos. I'm so glad I got new headphones, lmao.
9:00 we have to also point out she is using the same earring over and over after it already pierced the skin. Let's just give ourselves hep while piercing our tragus from using a now dirty earring 6x on one hole. FFS SMH
"these people need to get out more" 😂😂
The guy writh the hoop on his face, reminds me of how my eyebrow piercing was ripped out at a club.
That part with the bird in the ear pissed me off. That poor bird
You make me laugh Roly!🤣😆😂
It sent me when he was singing the hokey pokey and ended with "now you've got gout"
A long video from roly = great week🥹

Love all your videos, you are amazing. Just love all your black jewellery you have in at the moment. ❤❤😂😂. I have had thumb surgery and you are the only one that has made me smile through the pain. 😂😂❤❤
Hi Roly thanks for another lovely video ❤
❤❤❤❤
Love you Roly!!💜💜 Ready for more "GOUT!!"😊😊
I'm early for once!!! Yay! Love you roly!
Welcome to the early gang
What the fuck!? I feel like I don't believe that bird went into that person's ear hole by itself.
