You can make your own beef stock. I add plain water as there's already so much "beef" in this recipe. It'll be absolutely delicious . I reduce my sauce and don't add any starch to thicken it.

Use any stock. It really doesn’t matter. As long as you added alot of flavor to it, you could use water
