Thank you for this great review Meg. I think this is the best sounding Acoustic amp sub £1000 and when I found it was only £179 I was very happy, then I thought they are going to hit you big with the price of the Battery pack but no £65. I am saving my pennies now.
I just got one of these from PMT and the sound is fantastic. I recently installed the LR Baggs anthem system on my old Taylor 214 and bought this amp to pair it with the system. The sound is fantastic. I'm not even sure is the amp that makes the guitar sounds great or the LR Baggs that makes it sound good, but either way it sounded very good on the Blackstar.
I put my money where my mouth is and got one from PTM London yesterday. A small ,strong and great sounding amp that was lighter than I thought it would be.
Maybe someone can help, i wonder when i plug my trrs-lightning(for my iphone) cable in the live streaming, there is no sound or recording. However when i plug it in line out it has a recording.
Do I need a to download an app to record direct to my phone only?. I have the correct adapter and cable but can't seem to open anything up on my phone to record
Massive buzzing noise while live-streaming when using the lighting adaptor and a trrs cable. Other than that this amp is amazing. I wish the buzz won’t have been there this would have been my go to live-streaming amp😭
Yes it is a D.I. out and I use it to go to my PA when needed. It is alson before the main volume knob so increasing the main volume wont increase your PA.
Meg you are easier on the eye than Russell Brand and far more talented. Good to have no distortion and fuzz. You’ve cracked it. There is still a place for Dagan though 💪🏻😂
Meh, I bought one of these, there is a reason no one has a review with using a microphone to record what the AMP sounds like, not the line out. Just another over priced, plastic piece of guitar gear. Put your money into a full range musical/hi-fi piece of audio gear. Disappointment for me.
This is exactly what I wanted to hear. The Blackstar company reviews of their PA amps mostly seem to use the line out features. At least in this review somebody is actually singing through one channel. They might as well be singing into a recording console. This tells us nothing about how the amp would sound in the room with somebody singing through it. Your comment has told me more about room sound than all of the other reviews anywhere.

I had the same problem. The noise is horrible.
can I also play background music on this using my phone and sing using the mic?
