So I got a new printer and something is wrong with the feeder. They sent me a replacement. Since I already filled all 4 tanks I want to drain the ink and put it back in the bottles it came with because the replacement came with all new ink. Ink is expensive so I want to reuse it. So is it possible to put the ink back into those bottles without damaging them? I wouldn't want it to malfunction when I refill the new tanks (obviously not until the new ink is used up)?
Sublimation ink is used to print designs on sublimation paper, then is transferred to an item such as a t-shirt. This is far better than a vinyl iron-on because the sublimation ink fuses with the fabric like screen printing would. This is where the heat is involved. A heat press facilitates the transfer of there sublimation ink to the t-shirt, cup, or whatever. You can't use a plain iron to do this because they don't typically get hot enough. Also, whatever item you plan to transfer your print to has to be one that can accept sublimation ink. So for example, you really can't use a cotton t-shirt from Hanes. It would need to be like polyester. Circuit offers "blanks" to transfer to.
Hi...if you start with one brand of sublimation ink, when it is empty, can you switch to another brand of sublimation ink? I have Koala ink in my Epson EcoTank 2803 now...I would like to switch to Hippoo ink! Thanks for sharing!💕
I made the same mistake of putting ink in wrong reservoir. Thankfully I bought a new printer, so i just switched the tubes in the back where the printer head is. And i marked the correct ink on the outside with the marker so no one else makes that mistake when refilling 😮💨

The link to the syringe shows syringes without the rubber piece. The one you're using in the video has the rubber piece.
Would you not need some cleaning solution as well| after the ink is out?
So remember when you disconnected the cables before in 11:40... what exactly did you do to fix it ? 😅
I keep getting an error message 🫠
Great tutorial.
whats sublimation ink used for mainly? do you need a special printer since it needs to be hot?

Hi, Yes you can!
what if I want to change from one brand of sublimation ink to another brand?
Hi Sara, is the same process 😉
What if you put the wrong color in the wrong tank

I converted my 2803 and epson bricked my printer… 😡😡😡
Will it be affected if the ink has stayed there for a while and barely realized it was the wrong ink? 🥲can I still do the same process?
Yes, you can do this same process ❤️
Awesome! Thank you!
