Musicals are traditionally comedies and uplifting films. So to try to make a dark sequel like something as dark as the Joker’s theme was into a musical is artistically ambitious. I like minor key music and ballads are my favorite songs. I am excited for it to come out.
The original ending has Harley Quinn killing the Joker. They realized that was a mistake and took it out the movie. The movie 3% away from being rotten. That's not good.

They could have really stretched out Wanda's development: Infinity Saga, she loses Pietro and Vision, in Multiverse Saga she starts experimenting with the Darkholde until she becomes a big bad along with Doom, and in Phase 7-8-9 she finds Magneto and causes House of M.
They are using the show, though, to reintroduce Wanda's teenage son, so it's not like that isn't a substantial part of Wanda's story. That allows for a later Wanda led story where they meet.
The show gets to introduce one of Wanda’s son whilst also tying into Wanda herself. The show, along with WandaVision and a new project called Vision Quest is supposedly a trilogy sourcing from WandaVision

I’ve recently been playing Marvel’s Midnight Suns which is a strategy RPG (role playing game) based in the supernatural corner of the Marvel universe. In that game you can team up with Scarlet Witch and other superheroes like Doctor Strange, Nico Minoru, Magik, Blade, Morbius, Ghost Rider, Venom, Storm and Deadpool. There are also some other not so supernatural super heroes like Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Captain America and Wolverine who are also on the team. The story is like other Marvel stories (so far, I haven’t actually finished the game yet) where things happen to Scarlet Witch instead of her being the protagonist. The lead character is a new character to Marvel called The Hunter who is the child of the demon Lilith. Anyway my point is this would be a good reference for characters who suit being in the same space as Scarlet Witch and the story has elements to draw from for maybe a stand alone film. The game space does produce some great original Marvel stories that are derived from the comics. Maybe games are the new comic books for films to get the stories from?
As long as Wanda is still the most popular female character in the MCU, it wont be too late for a Wanda movie imo. When MARVEL anounced Armor Wars as a movie i thought cool, Justin Hammer probably gets out of prision steels Ultron's plans from tony's lab and revives him. This way Ultron could create Jocasta voiced by (scarlett johanson) this time, instead of vision. But it seems Marvel thinks ultron should be on vision's tv show. I hope it works. Oh, and to help war machine fight ultron and jocasta, his girlfriend from the comics captain marvel would help out.
I just think people generally want the Scarlet Witch movie and Spider-Man 4 the most among the upcoming MCU projects. I can understand why they'd want this over Armor Wars or Shang-Chi 2 first. Wanda and Spider-Man also feel absolutely vital for the story and hype of the upcoming Avengers movies.

Honestly, I agree that the source material isn't there for Scarlet Witch. I feel like it would be a much better use of her character to instead make her a major player in both Children's Crusade and Midnight Suns. Yeah, she's not headlining either, but we get her featured prominently in two stories she makes sense in.
What's going to hurt Joker is the fact it exists in the first place. That movie did not need a sequel it was a one and done story. This and Todd Phillips direction for the story is not a strong approach. What WB should have done and what would have made more money would have been a Leto Joker and Margot Harley chaotic romance Joker Harley R rated movie released on Valentines day. This would have had wider appeal and not seemed lioe a cash grab on the first Jokers success.
The 1st Joker had a lot of novelties going for it that can't be replicated again lightning doesn't always strike twice. Also Joker first and foremost is a Batman villain. A second movie where he again doesn't fight or even interact with the character he was created to be a foil to hurts his appeal imo. I think people seriously underestimate how much Batman plays into Joker's popularity.

Practically the entire Avengers cast were in weaker comics before the Avengers movies leveled them up. Especially Iron Man. Thor and Captain America did marginally better. But for Practically my entire life up until 10 or 15 years ago, Iron man has always been a low selling comic. He was never popular until RDJ started portraying him. Also, if Feige is claiming he has no material, then I have to call him out on that too. As every movie storyline has only ever been very loosely based on their comics counterparts. Most times they are only similar in name only. Also,no one cares about Wicken, and in today's climate, marvel would be setting themselves up for another huge failure if they concentrate on Wicken.
My prediction is that Agatha All Along is going to perform worse than The Acolyte. The Acolyte for all its controversy at least had lightsaber fights, Lee Jung-Jae and Carrie-Ann Moss in the marketing. It wasn't, on the surface, a huge deviation from what Star Wars fans enjoy. Whereas I think many male fans are just going to look at Agatha's trailers and then forget about the show thirty seconds later.
For some reason, Marvel has become the company that's adept at giving me exactly what I DIDN'T ask for...and nothing that I really wanted. At this rate, I simply can't see a flourishing business model in their future...
Jennifer Kale in Agatha All Along is the cousin of Johnny Blaze and Daniel Ketch. Spirit of Vengeance was way off base with the Marvel characters hopefully in the MCU they will be more direct.

Why isn't this show about Agatha finding Wanda and teaching her (comic precedent)? It could've gone into them both processing the trauma of being corrupted by the darkhold.
Also Agatha all Along sounds too gay/female. I'm gay and have nothing against representation (long as story comes first), but Wanda was/is close to a 4 quadrant hero, and from a business standpoint it seems like a bad move. I want heroes I love to have broad appeal cos then more people like them, and the more people like them the more stuff I get with the characters I love XD

It’s not about recreating the exact comic books on the big screen, it’s about taking those characters and putting them in new stories, that may or may not be inspired by the original comic book stories.
They need to market Agatha as a Halloween series, It has serious HORROR vibes. That is what looks good about it .. That and Aubrey Plaza is always entertaining.

When MARVEL anounced Armor Wars as a movie i thought cool, Justin Hammer probably gets out of prision steels Ultron's plans from tony's lab and revives him. This way Ultron could create Jocasta voiced by (scarlett johanson) this time, instead of vision. But it seems Marvel thinks ultron should be on vision's tv show. I hope it works. Oh, and to help war machine fight ultron and jocasta, his girlfriend from the comics captain marvel would help out.
I just think people generally want the Scarlet Witch movie and Spider-Man 4 the most among the upcoming MCU projects. I can understand why they'd want this over Armor Wars or Shang-Chi 2 first. Wanda and Spider-Man also feel absolutely vital for the story and hype of the upcoming Avengers movies.

Honestly, I agree that the source material isn't there for Scarlet Witch. I feel like it would be a much better use of her character to instead make her a major player in both Children's Crusade and Midnight Suns. Yeah, she's not headlining either, but we get her featured prominently in two stories she makes sense in.

What's going to hurt Joker is the fact it exists in the first place. That movie did not need a sequel it was a one and done story. This and Todd Phillips direction for the story is not a strong approach. What WB should have done and what would have made more money would have been a Leto Joker and Margot Harley chaotic romance Joker Harley R rated movie released on Valentines day. This would have had wider appeal and not seemed lioe a cash grab on the first Jokers success.

The 1st Joker had a lot of novelties going for it that can't be replicated again lightning doesn't always strike twice. Also Joker first and foremost is a Batman villain. A second movie where he again doesn't fight or even interact with the character he was created to be a foil to hurts his appeal imo. I think people seriously underestimate how much Batman plays into Joker's popularity.

Practically the entire Avengers cast were in weaker comics before the Avengers movies leveled them up. Especially Iron Man. Thor and Captain America did marginally better. But for Practically my entire life up until 10 or 15 years ago, Iron man has always been a low selling comic. He was never popular until RDJ started portraying him.
Also, if Feige is claiming he has no material, then I have to call him out on that too. As every movie storyline has only ever been very loosely based on their comics counterparts. Most times they are only similar in name only.
Also,no one cares about Wicken, and in today's climate, marvel would be setting themselves up for another huge failure if they concentrate on Wicken.
My prediction is that Agatha All Along is going to perform worse than The Acolyte. The Acolyte for all its controversy at least had lightsaber fights, Lee Jung-Jae and Carrie-Ann Moss in the marketing. It wasn't, on the surface, a huge deviation from what Star Wars fans enjoy. Whereas I think many male fans are just going to look at Agatha's trailers and then forget about the show thirty seconds later.
For some reason, Marvel has become the company that's adept at giving me exactly what I DIDN'T ask for...and nothing that I really wanted. At this rate, I simply can't see a flourishing business model in their future...
Jennifer Kale in Agatha All Along is the cousin of Johnny Blaze and Daniel Ketch. Spirit of Vengeance was way off base with the Marvel characters hopefully in the MCU they will be more direct.

I don't see Agatha all along impacting on Wanda, although it would be nice to see her because Agatha is in this situation because of her interaction with Wanda. I did not like Multiverse of Madness which did no favors to Wanda's character.
