    You're the only person I've seen with similar texture. My hair is just as frizzy and is dry a lot. Although it's frustrating at times, I'm in love with my locs. Thanks for sharing!

      My texture is the same as well. I agree it's not too many others I notice with similar textures

      Having a good clarifying shampoo along with a moisturizing shampoo, conditioner and natural oil is all you need. Water does not moisturize your hair. It just wets it.

    • @kmeinnc1
      @kmeinnc1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Please do not follow her tips. She is not adding moisture to her locs. The only thing she did that was actually good for her locs was he oil. Wet locs leads to mildew, any petroleum products lead to build up. You need to learn your hair to develop a routine that works for your hair. I had my locs for 7 years and they are almost hip length. Also the loose natural hair that was curly is loc breakage. 😞

      kmeinnc1 so throughout the week I should just use oil ?

      Kiana Archer wow thank you, because these days I would just wet it a little bit in the mornings 😭 I really suck at taking care of my locs

    why did i just notice what i noticed?? they are beautiful, im talking about your dreads but seriously be careful using that Cantu because it has isopropyl alcohol in it and that's not good for your hair, i use all organic aloe plant and water and occasionally organic jamaican black castor oil.

    • @NeilDownNatty
      @NeilDownNatty 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Yeah when she said she used Blue Magic and leave in conditioner really made me gasp! I have baby dreads but my hair thrives more when all i use is water, natural oils, and aloe gel. I guess since her hair is dyed that she'll have to use more moisturizing products.

    Hey great video! We have close to the same routine. I mix my carrier oil & varies essential oils with vitamin C purified water from the shower in a cautious spray bottle... used on my whole head 1st. My hairdressing is Taliah waajid lock it up and seal with Okay Shea & Hemp Ultra Moisturizing Body Butter or Okay Shea Coconut Ultra Moisturizing Body Butter. The thing tho is I only put the Taliah Wajid Lock it Up and butter on my new growth and use the spray bottle mixture on my whole head. I have a mixed grade of hair so some of my ends are curly I seal them with butter or oils. I don't want too much of a build-up in my already locked hair. I do clarify my hair every few months and don't do the creme conditioners period. Inmoisturize my hair daily with the spray essential oils mixture. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!

      Granny mama ,
      I heard the white jar of the blue magic works like magic! I have not tried it. Seem like it could be too thick but it can be heated to thin it bf putting it on your hair.

    With that or do I really really have to use those others you added?

      Mellonee Edgeston I use to like natures blessings when I had loose hair. How is it for your locs? Does it cause build-up on the locs? I just use rose water and a little spray oil.

    • @MelloneeKecia
      @MelloneeKecia 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mrs. Lakima I only use the nature blessings on my scalp and it doesn't cause any build up for me . I use almond oil on my locs. I've never tried rose water before. I use to make a spray bottle with more than one oil for my locs.
