I couldn’t agree more! I loved your take on the uniqueness of being a woman with locs. It’s always nice to see other loc sisters of course but it doesn’t happen often. So you have to be cool, confident and comfortable with being different especially in the starter loc stage.
I got locs when I was like 8 and then picked them out when I was 16. I was mid back length. I was also the only girl besides my little sister that had locs. It was fun being a lose natural especially since my hair was hella long after the comb out. Now I'm sad that I did take them out and am locing up again. My locs looked exactly like yours and to not have them is killing me. Can't wait until my locs mature.! This journey is gonna be great.
My coworker commented about how he wanted to see how my hair would look "when" I combed out my locs. I showed him an old facebook photo. Mystery solved lol.
