There are plenty of health benefits to drinking teas and coffee but most people won't drink it unsweetened. They offer no suggestions on what to do about that other than "drink water". Well, I have hemochromatosis, and the compounds in coffee, black and green teas help blunt iron absorption. I won't drink any of those unsweetened so it's either sugar, honey or sucralose....unless these two can come up with a better solution.

I wonder if sparkling waters are also bad? Obviously the aluminum can is but Im curious how the body responds to that water.

The water doesn’t touch any aluminum, there’s a plastic liner inside the can… which is also bad for you.

H2O + CO2 is probably okay... any added sweeteners are not

Problems with artificial sweeteners: does this include allulose, stevia and monk fruit?

      They are better, directly.
But apparently they trigger an insulin response due to the sweet taste on the tongue, and that can lead to consuming excess 'calories'

Research Stevia and decreased fertility. In some countries it was historically used as a birth control measure. So if that matters to you I'd steer clear of that one just in case.

Most anything that tastes sweet will have these effects. Often these molecules are actually much more potent than real sugar. Sucralose and Nutrasweet have very different chemical structures but have similar effects on brain responses and insulin secretion
