    Great info, thank you!
    I have some questions:
    1. How often you are replacing the whole amount of liquid in the tank?
    2. When the level of the liquid in the tank goes down I suppose that first you add water to bring back the EC to the level you want.
    But if the level of the liquid in the tank is too low and the EC is the one you want, do you top-up with a quantity of nutrient liquid with the same formula as you mentioned in the video? Do you top-up with small quantities every day or you add a larger quantity every week?
    3. In case you top-up, it ever happens to lock the nutrients in the tank and the plants start suffering?
    Thank you in advance for your answers

    Nice to have good water! I just have a small home setup but my water is super out there. Like 8-9+ depending on the day. Also pretty high PPM (150-200), so even for simple Kratky and DWC stuff that I'm doing requires constant maintenance.

    • @Average1212
      @Average1212 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Seeing as no one answered you I will chime in. You will never eliminate Alge growth as long as you have water light and nutrients. You manage it with a proper reservoir water rotation cycle and minimizing light exposure where you can( keeping reservoir blacked out).
      You could eliminate most of the Alge by running a UV light but that will pull calcium out of solution. In the end you just manage it.

      @@elvismom1 Hi, thanks for your reply. Why use epsom salts as the Plant Prod already has adequate magnesium and sulphur, according to the manufacturer ?

      We were having difficulty with cilantro yellowing so I just tried something different by adding a little epson salt and we noticed a large improvement in the health of are lettuce and a increase in weight.so we just kept adding each time.

      Yaratera: N -15.5%, Ca - 26.3% Yaralive: N - 15.5%, Ca - 19%... Yes, it can be used in hydroponics but the question is does what your growing need 7.3% more Ca atoms in it solution? and yes again, it can be used in a stock solution just depends on your stack and atomic weights of all the elements in the solution.
