I thought Donut had already talked about how the High/Low Subaru engines were built by engine builders that specialise in building boxers and admitted the only mistake they made was the first built engine didn't have enough time for a proper break-in period.

I was gifted their four-hour driving course a few years back; the skills I picked up were crucial in helping regain control and avoid a wreck when I encountered abruptly slushy conditions on I-90 and started slaloming all over the road.

F1 is considerably more difficult than even most amateur racers think. Rally make F1 drivers shit the pants. It probably the greatest expression of driving skill.
F1 drivers have a very specific skill set and it requires more athleticism than rally, however rally is significantly more varied and even require drivers to be decent mechanics.
@@ThereBeDargons F1 drivers just need a strong neck to withstand g forces while cornering. rally racers deal with similar Gs and they also have to be strong enough to be able to flip their own car back on the track if they roll and there's no random spectators to help them lol, F1 has like 100 man pit crew, a safety car, and a full tower crane on site to help if they break down
@@eloquent_redneck3719 Neck strength is important but what makes them athletes is the cardiovascular conditiong required to deal with the heat inside the cockpit for 2 hours in a race. Depending on the track the cockpit can average around 140° since unlike a road car the hottest components of the car surround the driver who is wearing several layers of non- breathable flame retardant clothing. It's way most of them run triathlons during the off season... They may be rich primadonna's but they are legit athletes lol

Im from West Virginia. We have alot of gravel and dirt roads out in the woods. Drove Ford festiva and hands civic hatchback like I was running moonshine. Got good with emergency brake and taught myself to drift at 60 on gravel.
