The sawblade function on the Eight Brother's lightsaber is actually the most fitting function so far for an Inquisitor. Inquisitors usually handle torturing and stuff, and that saw blade can cause painful wounds, that're not instantly cauterized.
Something I don't see a lot of people noticing. The music that plays when Vader calls for Ahsoka and she says he won't leave him. Is the same music that played in the end credits of the Clone Wars Season 5 finale after Ahsoka had left the Jedi Order after being falsely accused for the bombing of the temple. Very nice touch.
i think a lot of people miss this. vaders second, fourth and fifth lines to ahsoka is not a threat but a warning. He doesn’t want to hurt her like he hurt padme. He know once he starts fighting her he cannot stop himself from destroying her. His second line to her “we need not be adversaries” meaning i don’t want to fight you. Fourth: “Anakin Skywalker was weak. I destroyed him” meaning the person you are looking for is not here. If you fight me i will destroy you like i did your master Fifth: “Revenge is not the jedi way” this is his last attempt to tell her to listen to his training and walk away. But like anakin ahsoka does not hide her feelings.
Also, the final lines between them..... Ahsoka: I won't leave you, not this time. Vader: Then you WILL die! One final warning...if you stay with him, she will be killed by his hands. You can see the hesitation in his eyes as well before he said it.
Why do so many people dislike and hate the Inquisitor Lightsabers when they are used like helicopter blades? I thought it was a unique idea! Why I think they were put into the episode and how they work: 1. The episode would have dragged on for too long if the Inquisitors had to use the temple's "elevators" to get to the top, so Filoni and the team implemented them into the entire episode as a result to speed up the fighting on the temple. Though, the temple would have had multiple "elevators" on each side, so the Inquisitors could have easily used those to get to the top as quickly as the crew and Maul did so? 2. Do they logically make sense? How do they work? I do not know the answer. I do not think the actual plasma blades of the Lightsaber is lifting the Inquisitors upwards like helicopter blades do on earth. Plasma might be able to create upwards force against gravity if spun around in a horizontal circular motion, but, when the Eighth Brother had Ezra trapped on the ledge, we finally got to see what causes the Lightsaber blades to spin. Is it those pedals in the blade that allow the Inquisitors to fly in the air? Or, is it merely the Force at work allowing them to fly? Like Darth Sidious once said in Revenge of the Sith, "The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural." 3. Or, it was just a fun little invention the team created to make the episode the best it could be! Not taking into account how weird or illogical it would turn out. Because, this is Star Wars after all, logic has been discarded many times in the franchise. Just my opinion, and everyone else will have others as well. Whether you agree or not, do not hate me for giving my opinion!:)

Welp, I called it, Erza is gonna be a Grey Jedi, there's no way that he's gonna fully turn to the Dark Side after what Maul and Vader did, but it seems that he is gonna use its power. So he lost two things that matter to him, he thinks that Asoka is dead and Kanan is blind, so Kanan is basically General Kota from Force Unleashed physically. Can't wait to see what path Erza takes, how Kanan with train his use of the force to help him, what happens to Asoka, what is Maul going to do, and lastly, how was Vader affected by the fight with Asoka. This episode really raised many questions, but I'm excited to see what's next.
azzzanadra Well, why would we have another? The vast majority of the Jedi died as a result of Order 66. Many remaining Jedi were killed later by Darth Vader and the Inquisitors. I'd imagine the Empire also tracked down and killed any known Grey Jedi too. To put it simply, there aren't really enough Jedi out there to be "Grey". If there are any left, they're probably stragglers of the Jedi Order still hanging on after Order 66, in which case they are still "Jedi", not Grey. I mean, sure, they could introduce some character now and make him/her a Grey Jedi, but I don't see any reason to. We've got Ahsoka. Throwing in another Grey Jedi or two just makes Order 66 look like it was ineffective.
Q&A: Hi guys, what you think about this moment, when Maul confront Ahsoka, after Kanan get blinded, and says her "running away again lady Tano", what means AGAIN, did they met (or fought) before?
I....didn't like the lightcopter either. For a start they over-use it (what about 3 times? - give it a rest already), they've never used it before, how does it work? and lastly, it's it's the sort of naff-wankery(tm) that you epect from fanboys :P Apart from that - GREATx10
The music at the end. Kanan losing his eyes and Hera's emotion. and Anakin's face being visible.... that almost made me cry. and the last time I cried was back when Episode 3 RotS was in Theaters back in 2005
There is a huge reference that no review or reaction video has mentioned. Vader says to Ashoka "Anakin Skywalker was weak, I destroyed him". That is a reference to the thing that Kylo Ren says to Han Solo in The Force Awakens: "Your son is gone, he was weak and foolish like his father, so i destroyed him". If i am to analize the reference i would say that it tells us that just like Anakin was not really destroyed Ben Solo will also return to the light. They are both drawn towards the dark side but conflicted between the two side only Ben admits it although Vader tells Luke some sincere things in the movies that also show the conflict within him. I personally give a big chance to the theory that claims that Ben Solo never really left the light side and he just tried to win Snoke's trust in order to take him down from within the first order. I think someone should tell the world about this reference because its a big one and no one has noticed it.
I think the line is just a nice nod to the force awakens that came out a couple months earlier. And Kylo killing his father, no coming back from that lol.

Can't wait to see what path Erza takes, how Kanan with train his use of the force to help him, what happens to Asoka, what is Maul going to do, and lastly, how was Vader affected by the fight with Asoka.
This episode really raised many questions, but I'm excited to see what's next.
+Shade The “Smartass” Gamer i really, really wish that disney stops with "light and dark" philosophy and start introducing grey jedi.
+azzzanadra We have a grey jedi.
Her name is Ahsoka.
Obi-Juan why not have another?!!
azzzanadra Well, why would we have another?
I'm so so glad you were wrong, and that ahsoka never died during this or future seasons
Q&A: Hi guys, what you think about this moment, when Maul confront Ahsoka, after Kanan get blinded, and says her "running away again lady Tano", what means AGAIN, did they met (or fought) before?
Clone Wars Season 7 confirms that
fun fact: in the star wars universe there is a subspecies of human called Miraluka who are born blind and they see through the force
I....didn't like the lightcopter either. For a start they over-use it (what about 3 times? - give it a rest already), they've never used it before, how does it work? and lastly, it's it's the sort of naff-wankery(tm) that you epect from fanboys :P
Apart from that - GREATx10
redcardinalist
They have Repulsorlifts.
The music at the end. Kanan losing his eyes and Hera's emotion. and Anakin's face being visible.... that almost made me cry. and the last time I cried was back when Episode 3 RotS was in Theaters back in 2005
LMFAO their reaction at 6:02 with the sabercoptors XD TOO GOOD LOL
3:30 Erics irritated view is so nice. Its like "DUDE, THATS FUCKING MAUL... DONT YOU SEE IT??? DUUUUUDE!!!!"
To this day I feel like the flying light sabers was the stupidest thing Filoni added.
Eric looking at Aaron and then at the camera for not knowing it was Maul is an underrated moment
4:08 I love how you two just looked at him like that. 6:56 Ah the famous star wars line
Just realised how close Maul and Vader were to each other, had kanan not thrown maul we could of gotten a quick but actual maul-vadet fight.
I’m excited to have the other gents watch this. It’s also unbelievable that this was released four years ago.
Holy shit this was 6 years ago
“8th Cousin?...I don’t know” 😂😂
I literally just came back to this to watch Eric freaking out at the heli-sabers
Just finished Clone Wars, had to come rewatch this reaction, can't wait for y'alls, 7x12 Victory and Death, reaction.
So glad I saw this after the last season of clone wars... Made it so much more emotional
Times Eric gets annoyed by the spinning saber 0:00-30:42
LMAO
Watching this again in anticipation of next week's rewatch...
A variation of the start of the duel of the fates plays after kanan is blinded
I love how they both immediately turn and look at his reaction to maul being back
this is prolly the best rebels episode of all time.
1:57 I can't tell what they saw but oh boy was that well coordinated
Maul underestimated Kanaan. Not realizing that Jedi are trained to fight blind as Younglings.
I like the concept of the spinning sabers. And didn't mind the 8th brother flying. But seeing the 5th brother using that thing to fly was ridiculous
I would love it if Ezra secretly hides away somewhere from time to time to get lessons from Darth Traya (via the holocron)
4:09 I love how they both turn their heads at him at the same time XD
I got real sad when I saw Rex. Feel bad for him he’s my favorite character
I love how when Vader calls ahsoka, to when he says you will die. The music playing is the credits music after the season 5 finale of the clone wars
When maul starting talking, he just said with 100% confidence: "yoda"....
“Please put your weapon away I mean you no harm” is a direct reference to Yoda first words in The Empire Strikes Back.
@@c1-10p7 yeah but mauls voice is just so recognizable
@@daankuhne182 You're missing the point.
She said “I think ill be ok” because she caught maul in the siege of mandalor, than she let him out after the clones turned on her in the venator, for everyone who didn’t watch the clone wars
I think that canan is general Kota from the force unleashed
*Kanen
Well he isn't.
+The Whisperer of Death *kanan
Basically
It's spelled Kanan
11:00 whats interesting about that scene is this. rewatching clone wars mainly s3 during the mortis episodes arc and ashoka had a vision of herself but older telling her if you stay with your master you will die. at the time of that episode when it aired it means during that arc she could die but it was legitametely forshadowing THIS moment. she chose to stay instead of leaving with anakin/vader telling her she will die and ashoka knew at that moment what she remembered long ago on mortis when she was his padawan.
