      August is the release date for "Ahsoka - Season 1". Hell Yeah... I can't believe how big she got as a character. At 1st I didn't think she was going to be around long, now she's a fan favorite. We can expect good things by Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka. Did good in the Mandalorian and book of Boba Fett season 1 (tail end).

      So just wanna share some deeper Sith Lore that people aren't aware of. The planet they are on is Malachor V and the Sith temple is a battle station/super weapon capable of petrifiying living beings. There was a great battle between the Jedi and the Sith and both sides got turned into stone. The voice we hear from the holocron is it's creator Darth Tanis a female Sith scientist.

    Maul was given his name by Sidious when he took Maul as a boy from Mother Talzin. It’s a sith name, but not his birth name. He doesn’t remember the name he was born with. That realization is what Ezra sparks in him. The man is old and broken at this point. He’s lost his power and everyone he cared about. Kinda forces him to reflect on his life leading up to this point.

The name that his Master, Darth Sidious, gave him has been so engraved into who he is, that even his own mother, Talzin, knows that there is no point in calling Maul any other name but what her greatest enemy, Sidious gave the child that he stole from her.

    • @theokayishgamer
      @theokayishgamer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mourtzouphlos240 It doesn't make sense for Maul to retain his actual real name as a part of his Sith name. Every Sith get's a name unique to them, and it's not their real name. I.e Anakin = Vader, Dooku = Tyranus and Palpatine = Sidious. The Sith names have meanings and enbody charasteristics of their "holders".
      Dooku is a tyrannical ruler, Palpatine is an insidious schemer and Anakin is an invader (as well as a father). Maul on the other hand is more like the Sith of old, more of a fighter, so his name shows that. It seems likely that he simply received a name that either just happens to be in line with nightbrother naming schemes or Palpatine intentionally named him similarly to his clansmen and siblings.

Kanan is blinded and Ahsoka is gone and in his mind its all his fault. He pushed for going to the temple, he trusted Maul and conviced the others to go along with everything. He so desperatly wants to proctect his adopted family that he is litteraly willing to do anything to save them. He just feels such a need to make it all mean something that he is tapping in to the darkside to learn anything usefull he can inorder to defeat the sith. Sith names are usually not their real names. After all, Anakin wasn't called Darth Anakin. That's what Maul was referring to, he's been Maul for so long, he doesn't remember the name he was born with. Sith's eyes don't turn red, so don't worry. Sith eyes turn a sickly yellow. Ezra's eyes flared red because he managed to open the Holocron, which flared a brighter red as he opened it.

    Most heartbreaking thing for me is when you see Anakin back with the blue eye. Ahsoka is able to get past Vader but it wasn't enough to bring Ani back :(

    Remember that when someone join the sith order, than he change his real nema on the sith name with prefix Darth, which means Lord on Sith's language

    I really like the sith temples traps. It requires teamwork to get to the sith holocron. Its in the sith's nature to betray eachother for power at the easiest convenience so none of them would have made it to the holocron or would be able to claim it since they would likely try to kill eachother in the traps to have that power to themselves.

    Holy cow, what a spectacular and emotional series of events! This was the first time we see Vader's mask get slashed and the first time we ever heard Anakin and Vader's voices together. Since Kenobi came out after this, seeing the same thing happen in Kenobi was extra epic cuz all us long time fans were immediately brought back to this moment in our minds. Hooray! Since you are almost done with season 3 IRL right now, I'd say that it's totally safe for you to watch through Mando S2, there's nothing in there that should spoil anything left in Rebels that you have not got to yet.

    Maul is his Sith name given to him by Palpatine. Darth is a title like Lord. The sad thing is he doesn't know his birth name anymore..

    This episode was very intersting about Ahsoka damaging Darth Vader helmet and Obi wan did the same thing damaged Darth Vader's helmet and both Obi wan and Ahsoka couldn't get through Darth Vader that still had Anakin within him but Luke helped him get redeemed in return of the Jedi.

    7:43 yes. But times have changed, a new lesson is learned: you must never fully give into you're hatred and must always find inner peace within you're heart at the exact same time. You must relearn that there can't be the light without the dark and there can't use the dark without the light to guide you.

    I honestly wonder if there has even been this many lightsabers on screen before, outside of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant in various media, and in the arena on Geonosis in Attack of the Clones when Mace Windu came to rescue Obi Wan, Anakin, and Padme. In The Clone Wars there was usually no more than maybe four Jedi and/or Sith fighting in any given scene. During some of the Savage storylines maybe there was five people fighting with sabers in one place. I bet Yoda and Palpatine were both sensing something crazy was happening during this two-parter. Maybe Obi Wan sensed it too. Large battles between groups of lightsaber wielders hasn't really been a thing for thousands of years.

      @Kallum canon isa funny thing? Does it live in the world or in the mind? Canon is merely ones point of view. And also well, even in the new one Revan is canon.

    Maul’s birth name is unknown. Maul isn’t his real name. Like how Anakin became Darth Vader, Dooku became Darth Tyrannus and Sheev Palpatine became Darth Sidious. Their Sith names are different. The only difference being Maul was taken as a child and too young to remember his real name

  • @wolfman-up7dh
    @wolfman-up7dh ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Maul doesn't know what his mother named him. That's what he meant about a "real name."
