Having an XPress 750, I HATE their torque sensor. It surges, and it’s next to impossible to ride at 28mph even with the P11 setting turned up. Funny enough, my favorite so far for hub drive bikes is on the GoTrax Tundra (Rebranded Denago). It’s a normal smooth torque sensor in PAS 1-4, and then PAS 5 is cadence only mode and you can pedal it all day long at 28 mph.
Imagine all the camping gear that 2 people riding on those could carry.. Tent, cooler, sleeping bags, cooking and fishing gear. Toss in a few solar panels and a power bank or 2.😂😂
Even though this has the name of Xpedition, I'd like a cargo bike that can handle the mountain trails near Reno, and carry a tent and gear and spend a couple nights in the high desert. I'd use it to get to a remote location, then set up camp, and hike around for a day or two, then ride it back. I'd like to see that cargo bike loaded with gear or kids and see what that experience is like. Also, are there any solar charging suggestions yet, for if you park the bike for a day in the sun?
If you are serious about offroading with a cargo bike, you might want to check out the Tern Orox, but it is going to cost you a pretty penny, and it doesn't have a front suspension fork, because they don't make bicycle suspension forks that are designed for that kind of weight.
QQQ - I talked to Lectric so I know they do not have any plans for one, so do you know any manufacturer that you would recommend who makes a 29er/300 wheel ebike? Ever since the 1st time I rode one a decade or two ago I never bought a 26" wheeled bike again. I just like the smoothness of the larger wheels as they provide a smother ride transitioning onto dirt/gravel paths and the more comfortable feeling of the ride overall. I just had a major heart failure and after rebuilding my heart the surgeon says NEVER have my Blood Pressure over 130/90 (preferably Under 120/80) and Pulse Always under 95. I love bike riding so an ebike is the only way i can continue riding.
I believe you own a bike shop. I think I saw your aniioki video. Anyways I was wondering do you do any maintenance on these electric bikes? Have you tore apart the expedition 2.0 hubs yet? If so how many pole pairs are inside and do you have a video of the maintenance you do on these hubs? Sorry last question where is your located?
nice cargo ebike really like the display [after awhile its not noticed, much like the dash on the car] but very nice! the only thing Im not liking is the 20" wheels [Im 6'4"] so looks like a circus prop. yeah for me on it? looks like a bear on a circus toy for most average sized ppl the 20" will be good as it is a pavement cargo hauler, ez on n off plus kids will load easier - so yeah 20" is popular for the average bear ;) for me? 24" a little more aggressive tread as the height and grip ability on dirt/gravel roads would be a nice option. plastic fenders I have come to like them best (?) they're quiet and work well and don't rust. don't need to spray undercoating in them to quiet them or protect them. that is a fine looking cargo ebike :) enjoy the ride
I'm still so curious about the old Lectric XP 2.0's naming. I left a comment on Jeremiah's channel that I wished they would make a "Lectric XP 2 or something". Then like a few weeks later the 2.0 was released. I can't stop wondering if it was my comment that influenced the name. Lol.
My personal version of an e-cargo bike is still better than groups that get together and decide how to design an e-cargo bike. Elegance meets Utility should be the design concept. The Cannondale Wagon Neo is nice, but it lacks long range ability, the rear cargo rack is not long enough and their child safety bars are not long and wide enough. I am building for those who desire to do Journey Bike Touring; Everything a bike frame and design needs for that.

I suggest wearing bright red or orange when riding a bike...or a neon vest.
Thanks for the detailed review. Any insight into how this compares with the more expensive Radwagon 5 or Flyer Via Pro?

Controller is in that front frame downtube?
Looks like it’s behind the rear battery.
