Thank you for the video. For some reason, when I switched the boot to secure and pressed F10 and went back into windows, my system information still said Secure Boot State was off. Fixed the issue like some others by going back into the bios menu, changed secure boot to disabled and an option that said ‘standard’ to ‘custom’. Restarted the pc and let it load windows fully, went back into the bios again and switched it all back to standard and enabled secure boot. No idea why that had to be done but it worked.
For anyone who is still stuck, when you change the option from custom to standard, click "yes" when it asks to load factory defaults and then click "no" when it asks if you want to exit without saving. Do that and it should boot with secure boot on.

You can check the partition style from CMD in recovery mode: diskpart and hit enter then type list disk to show all connected drives. Note the disk number of the one you want to check. In the disk details, in the GPT column if there is * (asterisk) then it means the partition scheme is 'GPT', and if there is no * then it means the partition scheme/style is 'MBR'. Then if you get a message like: MBR2GPT: Attempting to convert disk -1 MBR2GPT: Retrieving layout of disk Failed to retrieve geometry for disk -1 Just type the number of the disk that the disk part utility gave you. For me it looked like mbr2gpt /disk:0 /validate and then mbr2gpt /disk:0 /convert. Worked like a charm! Awesome video!!!

You can skip a few steps in Disk Management. Instead of going through a couple layers to get to the disk's properties you can get their directly. Find the (C:) drive, but instead of right clicking on it, go to the very beginning of the same row, right click where it says "Disk N" (where "N" is the disk number) and then select properties.

@@JustMarzy how do u update your bios
Same for me is there any solution
This is exactly what I was looking for!! Once my husband follows the instructions (He works in IT)... I don't do BIOS... Then I should be able to upgrade to Windows 11. It's the only thing stopping me from Upgrading.
Very well made, thank you very much, converting MBR to GPT was a breeze!
Glad you liked it!

@@BradenPearce14 I did some googling and was able to solve it, I don't quite remember what I did, but a few quick googles can help. I think I reset to factory keys and then tried again
ME TOO
bro thank you so much every tutorial i saw didn't work but yours worked perfectly
Liked and subscribed because tou were the only one i could find with a clear video to find this. Thank you so much
Thank you for the feedback! Glad this was able to help you!
This is great, worked for me after researching and trying so many different options. It was pretty straightforward so a big thank you and Kudos to you.
