You are so healing for me to watch! I just got a new Ninja combi from a family member, thats how I found your channel. Thanks for all the amazing recipes!
I have followed you for a long time with the Ninja and you made my wish come through. The combi is such a learning experience that we now have the best teacher to follow. Please continue giving us videos on this amazing appliance.
Thank you, Louise) You as usually very warm and realistic cooker, all good explained, all main points that interest people who like to eat good tasty foods and use well good devices))
Louise, this looks absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, I don't have this piece of equipment, yet! But I am hoping I will get it for Christmas. You are so cute when you taste test your finished recipe lol, I always say, oh my gosh it's so good, lol. Thank you so much for sharing the Ninja Combi and the recipe.
I love this video and all of your videos! I just got my Ninja Combi about 3 weeks ago and I'm still learning how to use it, so videos like this is so great!😍
I am a new member and a new owner of the Ninja Combi. So happy I found your channel. The Combi is a little difficult to learn but you made it seem easy. Please bring more shows using the Combi.🌼🌸🌺
I love your videos so much. I bought the foodi because of you. I bought the combi on my own and liked it. Please make more combi recipes. Please get the larger combi accessory dutch oven and glass lid. I bet you could work wonders with it!!
@@TheSaltedPepper Ah very nice, drooling watching your video...as per usual haha. It reminds me of the "lazy man's lasagna" recipe I followed here on YT, but yours is much better, as always! :)
@@TheSaltedPepper Oh I Was going to say something else when you mentioned lasagna. One thing I did discover is the Ninja loaf tins make great portion sized lasagnas! If you buy the pre cut/made pasta sheets, they fit perfectly in the tins. I have 4 tins and cook in all 4 at once, then freeze 3 of them.
I just discovered you - love you and how you explain the Combi. I have the Possible Cooker Pro and going to try your recipe in this tomorrow. 😊 fingers crossed it comes out
Love this!!! Looks and sounds delicious. I don't have the Combi so I'm going to try it in the Foodi. We already love the lasagna in the foodi so I'm sure this will be great also...
Love your recipes, don't have the Combi because I have no more counter space. My house looks like a memorial to Ninja. I will get this one because I like the size and shape of the pan. I do have the speedi and the XL oven and 2 Ol 701'S. So I will be trying this. I am not a big fan of ricotta whenever I made lasagna I would just use fatter slices of mozzerella layered, but I will try it your way since it mixes in. You and Jeff have a wonderful week can't wait till next time. ❤
I just bought the combi, so I'm very glad you have videos with it, as I love your videos & recipes. Have you ever tried to do a greek pasticcio in the combi? I'd love to be able to do that in the combi.
Man bekommt direkt Hunger 😊... ❤
Oh! that looks so delicious… I was enjoying watching you cook then you added the tomato sauce 😢 sadly I have a rare allergy to tomatoes. I shall have look at an alternative sauce.
Great looking meal and so easy! What’s that gadget you used to break up the meat. I want one of those! Love watching your channel. I have a Foodi but thinking about getting a Combi. I’m a widower and I think it would be great for cooking meals for myself.
Thank you!!! Just bought mine from Kohl’s and so excited to try it! 😅 as if I need another gadget. All mine are Ninjas. 😅Wait until my hubby finds out haha
Thank you for this great recipe. I have just bought the Ninja Combi and this was the first meal I cooked for my family. It was delicious and very tasty. Recommend. However, the next time I cook this meal I would just lower the temperature to probably about 180c as the base was just starting to burn still very nice though.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! As far as the temperature goes and the slight burning on the bottom, I don't think decreasing your temperature is going to help with the bottom burning because the set temperature is only for when upper heating element kicks on, not the lower one. What I would try instead is to add an extra 1/2 cup of broth which will provide a bit more liquid for steaming and hopefully avoid that slight burning on the bottom.
Looks delicious! Since I have so many Ninja appliances, even though this one looks really nice, can you do the same recipe in the ninja foodie pressure cooker steam fryer with Smart lid? Either in the inner pot or in a Daddio pan on the rack?
I have also added the Combi to my ninja kitchen collection. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I have a question though. Can we use the same recipes in the combi we use in the Foodi except for the ones that call for pressure cooking? Are you going to add the Combi to your cooking course or create a new one perhaps?
Hello. I tried to recipe, but I halved it. It was delicious but a little dry. For the leftovers in your opinion should I mix in a little more beef broth or marinara before I heat it up again the next day?
They are expensive so I understand! Either will work fine though. I really like the high-temperature roasting method followed by letting it sit in the oven/appliance with it off, and the door closed to let the residual heat finish cooking it.
Hello, i was wondering if after browning the amount of meat you want to use, like for a single person or smaller family, can you put all the ingredients together in a smaller casserole dish and place it inside the dish you used and cook it that way? Thank you have a wonderful day!
Oh my, one of my favorite foods and so good when served with garlic bread. I have a question Louise, I don't care for ricotta cheese, do you have a suggestions for just using shredded cheese?
I wouldn't put the shredded cheese directly into the dish until after the steam part is done and you put on top because it will most likely become a gluey mess. People have subbed in either cottage cheese or even cream cheese in different versions of baked ziti, but I haven't personally tried it.
I see CLICK FOR RECIPE & DETAILS but do not see where the recipe is written out. Is that available or must I copy and paste from the transcript? Thank you!
Anyone figure out how to clean the inside of the combi? I’ve been using mine now for 5 months straight. I love the thing but it looks like a bomb went off inside it lol
Seems like a lot more work than I am used to with my dump and bake recipe that comes out perfect every time! All I have to clean is one pot. Ziti cooks in aluminum pan in the oven and I don't have to clean the oven. If you're interested, let me know. I'll send it to you. You forgot to mention the "real estate" of the unit or the cost.
Do you believe that the Ninja Combi replaces a microwave oven? I'm not happy with my microwave oven and I own a very outdated, much used airfryer. Will the Ninja combi do the job?
The combi doesn't function like a microwave, but it really depends on what you use the microwave for. I rarely use my microwave and find that reheating in the Combi is wonderful. The air fry function also works great.
The big difference between this and Speedi besides the size is the pan. Speedi had holes so hot air and steam passed through. Combi pan is sold so top is more like a toaster oven while bottom kind of trapes the moisture under top pan. Physic of cooking is different

You want to make a easy lasagna use ravioli shells since they are pre stuffed. You layer them and put your meat cheese and sauce in between

Yep! Just do it right in the inner pot and use steam bake. Everything else should stay the same. Please let me know if you try it!
Do you place foil over the top of the inner pot?
@@neilennis357 No, you don't have to in the Ninja Foodi or in the Ninja Speedi.
That's what I like to see - a good layer of grated cheese on top. Improves most meals.

Hello, i have another question, can you put this all together and freeze it and cook it that way?
Will it work to cut recipe ingredients in half?
Wondering either use that or ninja dual oven to cook a Angus prime rib for holidays. The beef cost $119 for 4 lbs so little scared
They are expensive so I understand! Either will work fine though. I really like the high-temperature roasting method followed by letting it sit in the oven/appliance with it off, and the door closed to let the residual heat finish cooking it.
Mine came with the casserole pan which is deeper
And it has a glass lid
@@kinglord5429 I wouldn't use the lid with a prime rib.

Why do people from the USA add 7,000 lbs of cheese to "italian" food? They need to come to Italy.
Nothing about this recipe is authentic Italian, it’s an American pasta dish and we love our cheese! 😁
@@TheSaltedPepper I can see that! 😀
I'm Italian descent (Sicily). We never ever made baked ziti.😂
I said it is American Italian, definitely not Italian. Perhaps I should have just said American. LOL
@waynogur You don’t have ownership on pasta recipes, so who really cares if you’ve never ever made baked ziti.
I bet you have a lot of leftovers from all the videos you make
NO THANKS, NO MESS FOR ME.
