Glad you enjoyed the meal! Thanks for watching!
I will be trying this. It looks delicious
Was a great meal prep for the week! Thanks for watching! I meal prep a few total meals on the weekend, and we eat of them all week...I love this machine for that! Thanks for watching!
@@realfoodprep That's what I like to do too. I call it batch cooking.
Just fantastic 😊 thank you so much, love your videos they are so helpful ❤
You are so welcome! Thanks so much for watching!
I made.
Spaghetti in the combi using the pasta button. The starch from the pasta foamed up and went all over the inside of a machine. How do you stop it from doing that?
The only way I have found to reduce it is to use the least amount of liquid you can....the larger batch you are cooking the worse it is, the design of the speedi is better at pastas for that reason. thanks for watching!
Other poster covered her pan with aluminum foil. I have the large Casserole pan that comes with a glass cover.
How do you know how much liquid to put in the cooking pan? If I use enough spaghetti for 2 people not sure how much liquid to use. I don’t want a lot of water left that doesn’t get absorbed. I love my Combi but there is a lot of guesswork involved….
Yes it is a lot of guesswork and the water amount does depend on the type of pasta and how long the other ingredients will take, however as a general rule double the amount of liquid to past but if you like a lot aldente reduce that and if you are using like a angel hair of course it would be a little less water. I generally use barilla protein pasta in most of my pasta dishes not all and it is just a tad under double the liquid to cook the texture we like. Thanks for watching!
I want to see a Angus prime rib done in Combi.
I'm trying to work up the courage to try that one, but I will try to give that a go soon. Thanks for watching!
Have you cooked your protein from frozen in the ninja combi?
Not in the combi but I have cooked frozen chicken breast just to shred up to have on hand for salads and wraps in the speedi. I think I almost completely covered the chicken in broth and used the steam and bake function which would be like the combi meals function. I will try to experiment with this and make some videos for this. Thanks for watching!
so you do 2 cups of beef broth and 2 cuos of water and how many cups of red sauce do you use
This recipe I put a quart of my easy homemade marinara ( th-cam.com/video/mp8pEg1i-v8/w-d-xo.html) that I make in big batches and freeze, so this would have been about 4 cups. Thanks for watching!
I have to come over for dinner. Lol😂😂
This is definitely a good one! thanks for watching!
Looks lovely ❤ thanks have subscribed
One of my husbands favorites!
Do a Angus prime rib for Christmas
OH WOW! No pressure from the family if I mess it up...lol! I think it would be delicious I might practice with a steak first....thanks for watching!!!
the only question I have is : doesn't the sauce get watered down when your adding it to 4 cups of water?
I don't did it does the liquid cooks the pasta but I do sometimes add liquid and cook the pasta and then add sauce at end of cooking time just to heat through
that looks disgusting.
LOL! I don't know what to say to this other than it was really delicious! Thanks for watching and I am sorry you found this not appealing.....It's real cooking in an everyday busy family life kitchen that sometimes lacks the luster and shine that other creators are able to provide. Our goal is try and show that real food does not have to be complicated and may not always be a work of art but very tasty and better for you than the local drive thru. Thanks for watching!
