They forgot a lot of TV shows kenan and Kel, Victorious, Good Luck Charlie, Shake it Up, Sonny with a Chance etc. it would've made a big difference in some of the rounds

Curlz N Curvez The only thing that has majorly changed is downplaying the laugh factor of live action shows. And their switch to HD filmization cameras made things less interesting. But they can still can produce good shows
I miss the old Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Nickelodeon was kicking ass with Loud House and Harvey Beaks, but their last great sitcom was Victorious. Sam & Cat was a better sitcom but also kinda redundant. How To Rock was also quite underrated and a good show. As for Disney Channel, Raven’s Home and Andi Mack are great shows. But aside from Andi Mack, Raven’s Home and Stuck in the Middle, the last good sitcom Disney Channel made was Austin and Ally.
It was so hard to pick, but I think Disney definitely wins for me. I love the cartoons and the songs. Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, and Andi Mack are probably my favorite Disney shows right now. I love ICarly, Drake and Josh, and Victorious, along with their most popular cartoons, but Disney wins for me.

Kids now-a-days don't even know how iconic this was back in the day. When both our favorite shows were being played on both channels at the same time, we kept changing channels every 2 minutes. Every commercial. Disney, no doubt, reign supreme. But Nickelodeon was not too far behind. I feel bad for kids who didn't experience our amazing childhood TV shows/movies etc.
Nickelodeon automatically wins because they still care about animation, while Disney channel just airs terrible sitcoms and has almost no animation anymore.

I don’t agree at all. 90s were definitely dominated by Disney. The 00s I agree were also dominated by Disney. However the 2010s while close, I believe were won by Nick.
TV characters? Dude, the Nickelodeon characters are so one dimensiononal! The only character that isnt one dimensional and had actual character development was Freddie Benson. While Disney channel? Alex Russo, Miley Stewart, Gabe Duncan, Chad Dylan cooper, the Ross kids from Jessie all had character development.
If they took into account the management of the cast growth, then I would give it to Nick as not really any of their stars went through a crazy phase. Ariana Grande became famous, but she did not go through that.
While I love both Nickelodeon and Disney, I liked Nickelodeon better since it pushed the boundaries more and was more wild with it's content (Drake and Josh, Victorious, iCarly, Zoey 101, etc). I can still watch all these shows I listed right now and crack up! They don't get old.
I also missed watching Phineas and Ferb on Disney Channel. Fun fact: It was created by Dan Povemire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, who will later go on to create Milo Murphy's Law. I was in middle school when it first aired on Disney Channel.
I love how to this day when we think of Disneys peak and Nicks peak, we think of 2003-2008ish era of the channels. My favorite times. I’d like to see comparisons with old and new shows though. Seeing the evolution (or even de-evolution) of these channels
I feel like the stars each channel launched is a more important category than theme songs. Disney had Miley, Selena, Demi, and the list goes onnnn. Nickelodeon had Ariana, Amanda Bynes, Emma Roberts, and some others

I’m sorry, but Nick is SO MUCH BETTER. Victorious, iCarly, Drake and Josh, Neds Declassified School Survival Guide, True Jackson VP, Big Time Rush, and Zoey 101 were iconic as heck. Didn’t even forget to mention Spongebob, Rugrats, Danny Phantom, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Avatar, and Invader Zim. Round 1 - Animated shows. Nick obviously wins this one. Spongebob, MLAATR, Avatar, Invader Zim, and more beats the disney cartoons. Round 2 - Live Action Shows. Nick wins once again. The disney shows jokes were so cliched and predictable. Nick’s shows still make me laugh to this day. Round 3 - Original Movies. I’m gonna give it to Disney this one, High School Musical, and Decadents carried this section. Nick has some good movies too, but Disney takes the crown for round three. Round 4 - Iconic TV Characters. Nick wins. Patrick Star is the literal star of an icon! There are so many iconic Nickelodeon characters, it just takes the crown. Round 5 - Theme Songs. I arguably think Nick has better theme songs. Some of Nick’s best shows have theme songs with barely any words, but the live action shows like Big Time Rush, iCarly, Drake and Josh, Victorious, and more nick shows had the best theme songs. Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents wins for the cartoons.

Brianna Clark I love ❤ Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel because I grew up watching all 3 channels. So in my own personal opinion I like all of the the same and equally and I wouldn't like one more than the other.

Agree big time, of course Disney Channel was gonna come out on top, especially with the live-action shows, movies and theme songs. I have to say though, the Disney Channel side of the argument kept ignoring anything that came before That's So Raven, which was puzzling and disappointing. When it comes to live-action, I'd say they're pretty evenly matched. Nickelodeon gave us Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, H20, Victorious, ICarly, Big Time Rush, Ned Declassified, Kenan and Kel, Every Witch Way, and True Jackson VP, while Disney Channel gave Hannah Montana, That's So Raven, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Sonny With The Chance, Jesse, Wizards of Waverly Place, Good Luck Charlie, Austin and Ally, A.N.T Farm, Shake It Up, and Lizzie Mcguire. Sounds pretty evenly matched to me. I do think they ignored some shows to make the choose easier tbh. Especially with the best theme songs category. They ignored catchy theme songs from Nickelodeon shows like Zoey 101, H20, Big Time Rush, Drake and Josh, Spongebob, Danny Phantom and Victorious. In the end tho, Nick definitely takes it home for me. In my opinion, the only category they can't beat Disney in is definitely original movies. Disney has that in the fkn bag.
Yes they definitely ignored certain shows on both ends, it hurt more for me on the Disney Channel side of things because they ignored any show that came before That's So Raven. Quick comment on Zoey 101, I may hate the show itself, but it honestly had a REALLY GOOD theme song
I’m personally a Disney fan, but I feel like they didn’t represent enough shows from either networks. They kept on talking about shows like That’s so Raven, Hannah Montana, Icarly, and Kim Possible (which I love!!!), but there’s a lot of really good shows and movies that they didn’t even mention.

1990 - 2008 Nick Reasoning Nick had Rugrats, Spongebob, Avatar iCarly, Drake and Josh, Danny Phantom. Disney only had a couple of good shows (Lizzie McGuire, Phineas and Ferb) 2009 - 2018 Disney Reasoning Spongbob was in It's dark ages, Avatar and Danny Phantom had just ended. Disney just started Gravity Falls and Star Vs. Andi Mack and Austin and Ally. They also still had Phineas and Ferb.Nick only really had The Loud House, Victorious, and Spongebob torwards the later end of this time period. Not to mention they had some really bad shows like The Thundermans. 2019 - Tied Reasoning All of the Disney shows from 2009 - 2018 mentioned earlier had stopped airing by now. Plus the Loud House on Nick had gotten just a bit worse. It's still good though. Right now there's nothing really special airing right now. Cartoon Networks really doing much better than both of these networks right now. But there's still hope. I hope these networks can make some future classics in the next few years. I will add that Nickelodeon is more extreme right now. They either have bad or good shows. Not a lot of decent ones. Disney's just consistently slightly above average.

Kids now-a-days don't even know how iconic this was back in the day. When both our favorite shows were being played on both channels at the same time, we kept changing channels every 2 minutes. Every commercial.
Disney, no doubt, reign supreme. But Nickelodeon was not too far behind. I feel bad for kids who didn't experience our amazing childhood TV shows/movies etc.
Nickelodeon automatically wins because they still care about animation, while Disney channel just airs terrible sitcoms and has almost no animation anymore.

I’m sorry, but Nick is SO MUCH BETTER. Victorious, iCarly, Drake and Josh, Neds Declassified School Survival Guide, True Jackson VP, Big Time Rush, and Zoey 101 were iconic as heck. Didn’t even forget to mention Spongebob, Rugrats, Danny Phantom, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Avatar, and Invader Zim.
Round 1 - Animated shows. Nick obviously wins this one. Spongebob, MLAATR, Avatar, Invader Zim, and more beats the disney cartoons.
Round 2 - Live Action Shows.
Nick wins once again. The disney shows jokes were so cliched and predictable. Nick’s shows still make me laugh to this day.
Round 3 - Original Movies.
I’m gonna give it to Disney this one, High School Musical, and Decadents carried this section. Nick has some good movies too, but Disney takes the crown for round three.
Round 4 - Iconic TV Characters.
Nick wins. Patrick Star is the literal star of an icon! There are so many iconic Nickelodeon characters, it just takes the crown.
Round 5 - Theme Songs.
I arguably think Nick has better theme songs. Some of Nick’s best shows have theme songs with barely any words, but the live action shows like Big Time Rush, iCarly, Drake and Josh, Victorious, and more nick shows had the best theme songs. Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents wins for the cartoons.

Agree big time, of course Disney Channel was gonna come out on top, especially with the live-action shows, movies and theme songs. I have to say though, the Disney Channel side of the argument kept ignoring anything that came before That's So Raven, which was puzzling and disappointing. When it comes to live-action, I'd say they're pretty evenly matched. Nickelodeon gave us Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, H20, Victorious, ICarly, Big Time Rush, Ned Declassified, Kenan and Kel, Every Witch Way, and True Jackson VP, while Disney Channel gave Hannah Montana, That's So Raven, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Sonny With The Chance, Jesse, Wizards of Waverly Place, Good Luck Charlie, Austin and Ally, A.N.T Farm, Shake It Up, and Lizzie Mcguire. Sounds pretty evenly matched to me. I do think they ignored some shows to make the choose easier tbh. Especially with the best theme songs category. They ignored catchy theme songs from Nickelodeon shows like Zoey 101, H20, Big Time Rush, Drake and Josh, Spongebob, Danny Phantom and Victorious. In the end tho, Nick definitely takes it home for me. In my opinion, the only category they can't beat Disney in is definitely original movies. Disney has that in the fkn bag.

All of the Disney shows from 2009 - 2018 mentioned earlier had stopped airing by now. Plus the Loud House on Nick had gotten just a bit worse. It's still good though. Right now there's nothing really special airing right now. Cartoon Networks really doing much better than both of these networks right now. But there's still hope. I hope these networks can make some future classics in the next few years. I will add that Nickelodeon is more extreme right now. They either have bad or good shows. Not a lot of decent ones. Disney's just consistently slightly above average.

Both great in my book. The only problem I find with the sitcoms is that a lot of them use laugh-tracks instead of live audiences.
Kenan and Kel was the exception. We went to the Nickelodeon Studios in Florida just to get a seat for that.
