Nice!! Finally the demo I wanted. Sounds so good but i still couldn't decide if i should buy this, Am Pro Jazzmaster or 60th Ann. Jazzmaster... Sometimes mustang sounds so thin
I bought this guitar about month and a half ago. The pickups to me have more of a p90 vibe (not as much output and noise, but has that midrangey character with more high end). SO i tried the mexican mustang with the single coils. THose were super thin and brittle, I hated them. On the performer the bridge pickup has alot more midrange than i was expecting. Imagine the bridge pickup of a jazzmaster without as much low end, to me the bridge is super punchy. Like a mix of a strat and jazzmaster pickup. The neck is really warm and sparkly, more like a strat to my ears. Both pickups take overdrives really really well. For me, my classic player jazzmaster didn't take distortion or overdrive well. By far my favorite guitar ive owned. I was nervous at first when I boguht it because I didnt want the pickups to be too brittle or glassy. Im pleasently surprised by these pickups
@@sussleremons8599 You just described the guitar i wanted for all these years! Think im gonna buy this beauty. Need to go and try it again then. Thanks for the answer mate.
@@taybarsege good to hear. I'm really happy with mine. Only upgrades I did was add locking tuners, which was easy because it has the same sized wholes for modern fender tuners
This might be the best sounding mustang I've come across on TH-cam, I have always really liked the way Mustangs plug in on the front, cool guitar.
Thank you!

I was wondering if locking tuners would be a good idea to help with the trem arm action. Good to hear you like yours.
I hate when people demo mustangs with distortion but this demo was perfect
I'd love to know what this guy thought of the guitar. Looks quite uncomfortable for him to play. Sounds great though.
yeah probably for someone with small hands should be comfortable
