I hope the rest of your recovery goes well. it was suggested I have the same surgery but it was decided I wouldn't be able to handle the treatment so nothing has been done, i'm not really bothered by my deformed jaw so i'm happy leaving it as it is. having a wisdom tooth extracted was already past my limit even while sedated so I don't think I would react well to jaw surgery😂
Hi Hazel, Many thanks for watching my video and for your kind wishes. Yes, having a wisdom tooth out is really painful all of its own. Fortunately, I had mine taken out under general anaesthetic and by the time the anaesthetic wore off I only a tiny bit of pain. I didn't realise how long the recovery period was going to be regarding the jaw realignment and complications with this sort of surgery are quite common. The post-op bruising was quite bad too. The left side of my jaw is still numb so I'm hoping I don't have to go in for a second operation to correct it.
My Christmas and new year went great. Sadly a few days ago my pet rat passed on, but otherwise is good. Also youre so pretty!
