Such a neat video. I was fortunate enough to go to Hico many years ago to one of the BTK Days in Hico. I attended a talk the Mr Valdez put on about Brushy Bill Robert and still have the handout he passed out.

What blows my mind is the brain-dead muppets who say "If Brushy was Billy The Kid then why didn't he reveal himself earlier"?.....Insert face palm!! Because he most likely would have been executed....
Of course Brushy had to keep his secret.
And what did he have to gain by being honest in his late 80's? He didn't want fame or money, he just wanted to go to his grave a pardoned man.
Billy never killed anyone who wasn't prepared to kill him or who hadn't killed before.

Yep, he's aFreemasin and knew Kennedy was about to get popped, because Kennedy didn't want to go into Vietnam and was going to expose the Freemason Illuminati secret society as per his famous speech, then he was murdered soon after.
Pop quiz info for you, the last film Kennedy saw was the then latest James Bond film From Russia With Love, at a private screening at the White House. He left for Dallas the next day.

30:21 Idk if you guys saw this, but someone used A.I. to clean up that old tintype and if you look at that scar on Brushy's nose, Billy had the same scar on his nose.
I really wish a coroner had looked over Brushy's body, like they do and documented where all his scars were, or that Morrison had taken pictures showing his scars. The odds aren't good that Brushy would just happen to have all the same knife and bullet scars and _not_ be Billy the Kid

  • @wyattmorris8768

Well it’s understandable why they wouldn’t want to pardon Billy the kid because they wouldn’t only be liars who treated Billy the kid unfairly they would definitely show just how guilty they truly was throughout his life. See they created that monster

Jessie James was a good 15 years older than the kid maybe 20 years . My grand fathers was one of the old timers that met Roberts in Albuquerque and he did not believe that Barkeyville Robert was Billy the kid .

There is evidence that supports the Billy the Kid / Jesse James connection. In the book Frontier Doctor by Dr. Henry Hoyt, Dr. Hoyt, a friend of Billy’s, who was working in the Exchange Hotel in Las Vegas, New Mexico, in 1879.
In late July, while having dinner in the Adobe Hotel in Hot Springs, he ran into Billy and a companion the Kid referred to as “Mr. Howard from Tennessee.” The Kid later told Hoyt that Mr. Howard was, in reality, Jesse James, who was in town visiting a boyhood friend from Missouri. The Kid claimed Jesse offered him a job robbing trains, but that he had replied it was not his line of business.

I’ve read and seen material about Brushy Bill that I can believe he might be Billy the Kid but this guy makes me doubt it. It’s his “I’m only right” attitude that kills it. Again, he sounds more like an obsessed fan of hear say than a historian. I say he is not a good source.

Dr. Valdez was much more than "a fanboy", as he was a respected historian and author of several books, most notably, Billy the Kid: Killed In New Mexico - Died In Texas, (which he wrote with Judge Bob Hefner). He was also the curator of The Billy the Kid Museum of Canton, Texas.

You'd be a fool to believe BBR is BTK. Every picture of BTK shows that he had a longer jaw than BBR. Put a picture of Dirty Dave Rudabaugh next to BBR, and I might, might, might believe that before this story.

    • @brushybret
      @brushybret  4 ปีที่แล้ว +13

With all due respect, you seem completely ignorant of the evidence in favor of Brushy Bill Roberts' claim that he was Billy the Kid. Multiple facial recognition tests have concluded that Roberts and Billy the Kid were one and the same. These tests are the same that many law enforcement agencies around the world use to identify criminals and terrorists. See "A Basic Study On Human Face Recognition" by Koya and Kobayashi.

@@ericsmith7287 The Acton & Bovik Studies are discussed in The Return of The Outlaw Billy the Kid by W. C. Jameson and concluded that Billy the Kid & Brushy Bill were a statistical match.
