I used to love PTX, but I realized after Avi left that he was literally the only part that kept me coming back. His voice just has that emotion in it that makes everything incredible.
I don't like saying it but I'm glad he left and went in his solo journey. I think it's the music from his heart.
yea the lable of PTX pushed them too far into the POP charts hell that made them sound too mainstream over the years... if you compare the songs from today with the fun party songs that they did in the beginning, then you see what i mean...

Yea I literally stopped listening to them…I watched the video where it spoke of Avi going a different direction and to me they seemed so cold towards him…I love Avi he has a wonderful voice and soul…I’ve loved his songs since he left and I’ll keep following him

I came upon this song by a fluke tonight. I was watching a video of popular covers, of which pentatonix was one. I remember Avi had left years ago, was sad to see him leave as he was probably my favorite of the group. I googled him and found this song. I used to have faith, back in the military, but i lost it over time after gut punch to gut punch, tragedy to tragedy. This music has resonated with me in a way I can't describe. I want to go back to church after listening to your music.

Whoa, I just realized the parallels between 'All Is Well' and 'I'll Get By.' The beginning of 'All Is Well' sounds very similar to the beginning notes of 'I'll Get By.' But here's the thing: 'I'll Get By' starts with a major chord and moves to a minor chord, while 'All Is Well' starts with a minor chord and moves to a major chord. And this reflects the story that is being told in the songs!
In 'I'll Get By,' the narrator is in a low place and is tired and weary, just holding on to the hope that he can "get by" in life.
