How do you fly into the FRZ in the Washington DC area? This program will take you step by step as we file, take off, contact approach and go to KVKX. This is busy airspace. Watch for the close calls!
Over 50 and Learning To Fly! Yes sir. Thanks for the videos. I fly out of Hanover VA and your videos flying around DC were helpful. Been catching up on your mission flying adventures. Nice of you to donate your time and skills, like to do something like that.
Flew 47N to CGS in April. We left the plane to walked around DC and they were required to lock the prop. Didn’t want anyone stealing the plane and using it as a missile,
Why the long 4 and 5 mile finals in these small light aircraft? That was really frowned upon when I learned to fly. Is it required along with the special instructions in the FRZ? I've been seeing people doing these heavy jet approaches in everything from J-3's to 182's and I keep asking myself why?
It really is the only way into this this airport. If you look on the chart KVKX - there is only one way on and out- runway 60 is a straight in approach and 24 is right traffic. I had an incident recently which reinforced ALWAYS enter the pattern,... which I will always do from now on.... Thanks!
Flew into College Park for the first time today. It really was easy and straight forward.
Mark Tinsley it is pretty easy once you do it a few times and then it’s no big deal. Thanks for watching!

You need better audio when you are initiating a call to Potomac Approach. Can't understand anything the pilot is saying
Have you actually ever hit the center line? Just kidding please fix the audio
George Mulligan if you lean your head to the side I hit the centerline every time !😆😆😆
