He is very tired at the end of a very vocal heavy song, so he is trying to force a gutteral with a tired voice. This isn't calling him bad, this is just the reality of why it sounded bad this specific time.

That’s not vibrato. He’s not even really using his voice to produce that, he has to shake his arm or body to produce that.
