Chester Bennington took 5 minutes to talk to me and my girlfriend and we talked about what bands we listened to because we both grew up in Phoenix at the same time. The day he died the world lost an amazing person and and an incredibly talented individual the world may never see the likes of again.

Chester was the main singer but unfortunately he took his own life in 2017. Mike Shinoda is the second vocalist and he mostly raps, but there’s some songs that he sings. He also plays the keyboard and plays the guitar, but the main guitarist is Brad Delson. Actually Mike Shinoda is the brain of the band. Even though Linkin Park is a group effort, Mike writes most of the lyrics and knows how a song is going to sound. Linkin Park’s first 2 album’s are considered Nu Metal, even though there’s songs that sound more alternative rock. But in their 3rd album they changed their sound into a more metal and alternative sound.
