And even with math, it’s still guessing at one length that doesn’t have a straight line, multiplying it with 3.something in your head and then guessing how high the glass is. Scam school has helped me bring a smile to many faces. There is only one bar in my area and I recently saw a woman who looked mad. Tried to cheer her up and she told me to F off she wasn’t going to sleep with me. Told her I wasn’t interested anyway she just looked like she needed a distraction and some cheering up. It’s not always about that sometimes people just like to make other people smile.

The bottle inversion one was fun, I got it first try. I think its easier to hold steady with the ring finger and flip with index middle and thumb, but its really just about making gravity do work for you in a couple directions. Would have been a lot harder to experiment with people watching, and I did it pretty fast, but you could always call it if you saw someone getting close.
My favourite bar bet… “I can drink 3 pints of beer before you can drink 2 shooters” The rules… I can’t touch your glasses, you can’t touch mine. We can not spill anything. Ive bet $20 several times on this one. Never lost.

The match on the Battle. You can also lick or wet the stripe on the matchbox and slowly transfer onto the match. Then blow on it so it dries. Then light the match on any surface
I just measured a cup a little bigger than the clear glass one and it was 13 inches circumference vs 5 inches height. I was thinking circumference the whole time though because I know it's tricky and kind of like an optical illusion. With the pouring the beer with the straws, I learned to do stuff like that from making.....drug paraphernalia...lol. And the pool trick with the bolt, what about forward english?

(Although he said they tend to break, he didn't say whether or not the clear ones actually work for this. I'm assuming they probably don't.) The dark amber (brown) color in beer bottles is produced by adding sulfur and iron to the glass melt. Perhaps - and I do mean "perhaps", since I am in no way sure about this - there is just enough of those chemicals left in the scratched glass to allow the match to light, along with the friction from the rough surface. Brian's other statement about the smell of burning produced by the scratched glass also leads me to suspect this is the case. That would indicate that enough sulfur and/or iron is getting released that it produces a burning smell. No matter what, I have to wonder who on Earth discovered this and how they did. Possible explanation #2 is that flint is natural glass, and flint has been used to start fires for a very long time. So maybe there is something about silicate glass itself that makes this possible.
Cool tricks but I wish the notes that pop up would stay up longer. I had to rewind several times just to be ready to pause playback so I could read what it said!
