      Brian warned them that someone had his kids and was threatening them if anyone ate another bite of salad, but those cruel women just wouldn't stop.
      I understand, though, I mean, those salads looked *_really_* good!

    You can also move the top matchstick of the equals symbol, pivot the right side down and make 7 greater than 1.

    For the perfect square one, I would’ve moved the right match to touching the left one pointing up, to make a number 4, which is a perfect square number.

    The interesting thing about the first puzzle is that, in this case, this also worked with the number of vowels in each name, with each vowel being equivalent to 5. sUsAn = 10, IsAbEllA = 20, rIchArd = 10, jIm + jOhn = 5, jEnnIfEr = 15.

    haven't thought about the trick of fitting through a sheet of paper for years! better yet I've not shown my 4 year old (he loves some of the tricks I've picked up from watching this)
    also if you wanted to turn it into a gotcha you could always make them use the same piece of paper - by that point it would be un-unable

    • @christhompson8003
      @christhompson8003 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Update - he loved it and found it hilarious.
      btw, (on the chance you read this) here is a simple puzzle for you but has a gotcha in it. Line 6 glasses up in the following order (also the glasses should be almost touching or with hardle any space between them) :
      Empty, Full, Full, Full, Empty, Empty
      Moving one glass how do you get it so the glasses alternate between being full and empty - Bonus how do you make sure you get a drink out of it even if they get it correct.

    • @gatorguy87
      @gatorguy87 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@christhompson8003 I like your setup of the glasses better than the common way of 3 full next to 3 empty. yours seems trickier. I give up, how do you get a beer if they get it right.

    • @christhompson8003
      @christhompson8003 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gatorguy87 like you say, its a common trick - the difference is that when you pick up the second full one and pour the beer into the last empty one you make sure that's a glass they know is your and had previously been drinking from.
      Probably would work well with whiskey... but depends how much of a mooch rex is feeling
