I got this for Christmas as a kid. Instantly i lost most of the little pieces 😅. The noises it makes when the arms move is triggering childhood memories. Great video
Great review!!! Headmasters were an interesting take. I mean it's become an iconic part of Transformers and is still a relevant concept to this day. Considering that they did Titans returns with the head gimmick.
A truly beautiful piece Luke! The plastic has that shiny fresh out of the box look to it too. I love TF's with ratcheting joints, It's like music to my ears. Thanks for sharing!
My Transformers Holy Grail. Always wanted him back in the day, but he was no-where to be seen near me. Finally got him this year at AA and he is the shizzle! There is a K.O. which is on the market now - and it looks pretty good. I want vintage though! :-D
Fantastic! The last G1 Transformer I remember seeing in Argos. Always had a hole in my soul for never getting him, so I picked him up a couple of years ago on eBay. Still missing one or two of the dishes, and had to get repros for Fasttrack's guns... but what a beauty!
As a child, I lost interest in the cartoon and toys after season 2 and the 1986 movie because they killed off almost all of my favorite characters. It wasn’t until when I was in my mid 20s that I picked up where I left off in season 3 and developed a re-appreciation for the cartoon and of course the toys. This was great because I was able to buy figures such as Scorponok cheap in the late 90s and early 2000s.
I got this for Christmas the year it came out. I was really rough with my toys then, but I cherished Scorponok, and kept him in immaculate condition. My older brother was incredibly possessive of his toys, and one day found a photo my mother had taken, of me playing with his Legos, probably about 3 years before I even got this transformer. As revenge, he destroyed him. Needless to say, I was devastated, and part of me never really forgave him for it.
Lots of play-ability in this one fella it would seem, I need to ask where do you keep all of your collection mate, a loft, garage? It must take a lot of space...........Cheers Fuzz.
Btw, how much did yours cost? Did you get it with box complete? I also need Fast Tracks arms and guns. My box was so bad I sold it with an incomplete Scorponok. U put the chrome bits with the wider part near the feet in robot mode.
All this stuff is in a bin at my parents house. Haven't seen it in ages, but your vid made me want to go pick it up and display it on a (big) shelf. Cheers.
I have this. Got mine for £75 just missing 2 of the small grey aerials. Great toy but his head is too small. I prefer the Japanese characterisation over the 'two minds / Nebulan' crap.
i was borin in 84 =) just turned 29 last month, its funny, i dont drink at all anymore, but back when i used to be around 21, 22, id get the strangest looks when i present my alcohol purchases, lol, i was like gambit with my ID to prove my age. i look very young for my agee
I got really lucky with this one my friend, took a real risk on ebay, stock photo, bad description pretty much buying blind. He does give good click doesn't he!
I bought the body on its own for £5 in a charity shop and aiming to restore it back to completion. What happened to new videos as I used to subscribe and I like the Star Wars ones you did?
Sorry buddy, changed my job last year and it's left me with very little time. Glad to still be remembered though. Hope your Scorponok comes together. Cheers

They should make a normal-sized Scorponok, about the size of Optimus Prime or Ultra Magnus, since that's how tall he was in the comics.

My friend had one of these when I was a kid, wanted one for so long. Pure nostalgia for me this one. Cheers buddy!
Yay!! You sound like one of the Monkees.. Davey Jones ❤️
I realy love this figure
Only down part is it didnt had any battery operated features like Tripticon.
I like him even more.

One of the coolest Transformers ever!

I remember a mate having it, took me many years to own one
I had Skorponock
As a child, I lost interest in the cartoon and toys after season 2 and the 1986 movie because they killed off almost all of my favorite characters. I took a chance, description said missing one orange piece which turned out to be the welding arm thing. Fell on my feet with that one
I could be mistaken but I believe the scorpion legs could be removed when in city mode
Very nicely done marra. That looks practically brand New.
Oh it is mate, I am sure you could make room for one in your collection

Looks like he destroyed something that would've costed a small island nowadays, he could've made a fortune had he hid it.
Man, your brother sounds like a petty piece of shit
Yeah I saw you got one just after me. I was going to go the KO route but then this fell into my lap so its sorted now.
I was looking for years to get one at a decent price. People get carried way with how much this is worth
Lots of play-ability in this one fella it would seem, I need to ask where do you keep all of your collection mate, a loft, garage? It must take a lot of space...........Cheers Fuzz.
i had this one as a kid! i loved it. wish it didnt up in the bermuda triangle with the rest of my childhood toys - great review bud!

Very awesome mate. He is a very nice looking figure. Comes with a fair amount of accessories too!!
a great g1 and a must for a transformer collector! great review luke!
More Cooler and greater than the movie version💯💯
This was my favourite childhood transformer!
I got it for 75 as you see except for the "welding arm". I took a real risk on ebay, bad description, stock photo. Luckily it paid off

Flick Awesome, thanks mate

I'd love to see what the K.O. is like though. I wish Scorps had fallen into my lap lol. On second thought... ouch!

Very cool review Luke, very informative. :)
What? How did you miss this amazing bot!
Nice!---Never seen this one before---great review
Lol, ain't that the truth my friend, I'm convinced there's some long forgotten land where all our toys and figures ended up! lol
Cheers buddy!
Mostly in the loft mate, pretty much why I have never done a collection video is I have never seen it all on display. Would be nice to someday though.
I got really lucky with this one my friend, took a real risk on ebay, stock photo, bad description pretty much buying blind. He does give good click doesn't he!
Cheers John, have a good birthday mate?
