I know basically nothing about keyboards and have only just for the first time spent significant thought and money into one. My purchase is done and I probably won’t be buying my anything else to do with keyboards for ages, nor do I honestly have all that much interest in them. And yet, your videos are just really genuinely pleasant and relaxing to watch! So I will apparently just…keep learning stuff about keyboards. I wonder if anything I learn will come in handy sometime.
Well, I already liked when you put every relevant dimension at the beginning. Wish every keyboard review had that as a standard. I cant't decide between this, Bridge75 Plus and Crush80 Reboot Pro. Every keyboard is good - of course - but minor differences. Such as, this (Evo80) having rounded edges on its bezel, while Bridge75 has the angled bottom bezel. Also, it would be nice to measure the bezel thickness/widths (especially side & bottom).
Oh, also-I’m blind and therefore a screenreader user and really struggled to find reviews and suggestions on some other channels for keyboards with numpads or nav keys (which are absolutely essential for me). So again! Thanks for that.
I just picked up one of the Tyrian models from Mechanical Keyboards. This is one of the best keyboards I have ever had - especially for the price. I might buy the Scarlet version before they can't be found anymore. I feel like the cons in this video are *extremely nitpicky* - albeit the power button hidden under the Caps Lock Key is definitely weird. I haven't taken any keycaps off yet, so I haven't noticed this. But, I would have definitely questioned it if I went down that route.
As I have multiple QK/NEO boards, which are all my favorites along with my Halo75 v2, I plan to order this when it goes live. It's very similar to the my Neo80 with the addition of RGB. I love that board and would love to have in this color. I just hope the front is a low as the Neo80 as that is probably the easiest keyboard to type on I have. It's great to see that you can use a stepped cap lock key as well if you want to turn the switch, as is the case with most QK boards. Great review!
Got mine today in the same color... phenomenal. I got the FR4 plate with HMX and they are a little too light but sound amazing. I was going to use Nixies but may use Xinhai heavy or Baby Ks keep a similar sound as I really like it quite a bit. This is basically everything I loved about the Neo80 and Neo65 but with RGB... probably my new number #1. Thanks again for the great review!
Wanted to say that your review was very nicely structured and presented. Covered every* angle and a good summary of the pros and cons. *it would have been useful to address bluetooth and 2.4 range/quality, as I recall some aluminium boards were struggling to get the signal out. Especially where the base and top are both metal.
I would wager that the "marbly" sound that you're getting is due to the PCB foam sheet. The HMX switches will definitely sound clackier if you removed it.
he's just saying that coz he can't be bothered with scrutiny whereas people like me would say things confidently then berate and toxically beat into submission anyone that gets offended
That looks awfully just like RD 75. Except innovative part. Is this made from the same factory again? I guess the next trend is 95% KB. I don't know what the Chinese would do after 100 KB starts being eleased in half a year. Maybe we are going to be in a war so it won't matter.

hey always enjoy videos, thank you!
Hi. Good informative video! What are the thickness of the upper and lower edges of the case? Can you advise?
Looking to buy either an Evo 80, Crush 80, or Gem 80. Any and all opinions welcome!
3:36 Sounds like Rainy75 with hmx hyacinth v2
Would you mind to compare between EVO80 and CRUSH80. Thanks in advanced.
I have a Crush80 on the way so I will be able to compare them!
@@semiprotech Thandk, I am waiting for your video. Great review on EVO80
@@semiprotech Which version? Looking for Crush80 Reboot Pro by you. So good reviews.
How about leaf spring issues? Some people said they are floating without touching gaskets
Mine seems to be okay, I haven't noticed any uneven feel or unexpected type of movement.
That thing above the arrow keys being reflective is stopping me in my tracks. I'd rather they didn't bother at all with that.
RGB and eye-candies are usually what attract people in that price range and we do hope to hear more feedback like yours! tyvm for watching!
A little design and lighting is quite good already. Already better than keyboards with knob or lcd screen.

Stop saying in my opinion. We assume it's in your opinion unless you tell us it's in your neighbour's opinion. Your reviews are great, BTW.
