    A guide for installing Archlinux with KDE Plasma 6 Manually. Using ssh and Xrdp to remotely install on Bare-Metal. This will be a full KDE Plasma 6 desktop install.

    Hi Bro how can I login using AD domain user using XRDP. I am using Ubuntu desktop 24.04 gnome GUI. kindly help. Please reply

      @anand-nb4bb I don't know about active directory domains. Is that a Microsoft networking thing? The one thing I can tell you about xrdp was I needed to be on the same local network for the host and guest. So the host could be on a vm on the same local machine since it creates a bridged interface. Or I could have the host be another computer connected to the same router. But I wouldn't be able to have the host be a vm on another computer on the same network because the vm would not be on that network. Atleast with WiFi it's not possible to bridge them but I think on a lan you can. But the AD I have no idea. But if the vm is on a different machine then it's probably not on the same network unless you bridged the connection.

      @@ProgrammingRainbow Hi bro, yes its related to Microsoft server OS on which AD/domain controller is configured & other clients like windows 10 or Linux are joined to this domain controller. Its similar to LDAP.server

      @anand-nb4bb Check the ip address of the vm and the guest. Are you absolutely sure it's the same network address. Because my VM was 192.168.122 and my guest is 192.168.0 so if they are not physically on the same machine they are not on the same network.
