Nice footage. I have probably clogged Renault Clio II heater core. Did two winters without heating just to prevent this type of operation, that you just did in 3 minutes! Recently I heard about back flushing the core. I will try that first! ;-)
Yes, I did the backflush in december 2022 and heater was getting hot again. Under the air filter there is a hose attached to (the thermostate house? on) the engine going to heater core INput which is the lowest of the two barbs. The heater core OUTput hose, is clamped on the outside of the battery chassis and goes back into the radiator. Close to that clamp I cut that hose, so when connecting the two halfs again with a fitting brass barb and two hose clamps, it is supported/carried close to that battery chassis clamp. On that cut OUTput hose going to the heater core, you attach a tap water hose. Remove the INput hose under the air filter house from the thermostat house barb, and hang that hose in a slim liter container that fits between all the hoses, wiring and parts, to catch the crap coming out of the heater core. Slowly turn on the tap water; avoid to much pressure build up in little circuit so nothing gets damaged. Fortunately it took not lot of pressureand there was a lot of muddy water and debris coming out into the container. After refitting everything, the heater was working again. Also from that day I replaced the tap water with coolant; not just for its anti freeze but for it's anti rust? and cleaning properties. May have to do it again some time; the heater is working and gets fairly warm, but it could/should? be hotter. It is the spirals in the heater core pipes that swirl the coolant to the pipe surface that make the heat transfer better, but at the entry the openings are narrow and easely clogged when there is some crap circulating in the cooling circuit. Maybe install a heat resistant coolant filter between thermostat house and heater core entry?

I had 2 Renault 10s, a Renault 20 and now I have a Laguna 1. They have in common that they had heating in July and August. I will try it: disconnect battery. you have to get to steering gear from motor side. you will see rubber duster... you have to put it down from body - the hardest job then take down mounting nut + bolt.. if you dont see it you have to turn the steering wheel. take down airbag, disconnect it + disconnect horn, unscrew steering wheel. Dont turn with cables from airbag. may cause broken cables.. take down plastic around the levers. take down and disconnect levers and Ignition Switch. when you look from bottom up, you will see 4 bolts. unscrew it... then you will have steering colum free... I hope I helped you.

Antonio Perez in my case it was about 12 hours.. without rush, with cleaning the heater box (plastic box where is radiator) and remake cables from radio...
the only way to slow down the video is: click Settings on video bar, then click speed and choose 0,5 or 0,25... because it is video made from pictures every 5 seconds (timelapse)
László Böröcz You’re welcome.... but.. when I replaced the radiator, after a week it started to leak out again .... because of higher pressure... my problem is probably in the engine or water pump :-(
@@AtySUS Yes. I changed that radiator three times. For the first time I tried to reseal the original radiator. It didn't help. The second time I bought a used radiator, but it started to flow in a week. I bought a new one a third time, and I replaced the cap on the water tank. Everything has been OK since then.

Každé auto je iné.. blbé je, že u Thalie bol častý problém netesnost radiatora. Časté zaparovanie skiel... a potom náročná výmena.. Nieje u teba náhodou zrelý na výmenu len termostat?

Ahoj. Prepáč ale s týmto ti nepomôžem. Ja som mal tie výstupky také ohnuté a dolámané už predtým. Takže som to jednoducho menšou silou potiahol k sebe a mierne dohora, a bolo to von.. Ono sú tam 2 také plechové západky ktoré to držia pokope.. takže ak niečo zlomíš nevadí a ak ohneš, tak tento plast je taký ohybný že sa dá vyrovnať. Dúfam že som aspoň trocha pomohol.

it's really hard work. Since my time and space is limited, I will try this work without removing the steering column. The picture in the link is made without disassembling the steering wheel. I think of doing it this way.

Yes, I did the backflush in december 2022 and heater was getting hot again.

To był świetny samochód. Gdy coś poszło nie tak, mogłem to naprawić. Za tanie pieniądze. Silnik był bezproblemowy. (1.4). Ale wolę nie mówić o sprzęcie i bezpieczeństwie. : D: D

Bez problemu. W prawym dolnym rogu naciśnij ustawienia, a następnie prędkość odtwarzania. Tam masz nawet dwukrotnie większą prędkość. Ciesz się moim filmem znacznie szybciej. 😂😂
