The controversy was they billed Temtem as a 'monster collector mmo' but shortly after it hit 1.0 they were just like 'okay, we're done, no more content', so more of a multiplayer open world game (and barely that, really) than mmo, then they announced this thing which is not what the existing fanbase wanted. They did at least remove the in-game monetization from Temtem once they declared it content complete, but that they had it to begin with if that's where they were going to be going...eh....
Should be an option to stop rolling techniques like in soul survivors. I also like it when theres a shop so you can look for whats missing from your build. Its annoying to have to grind to unlock gears for evolutions and the game doesnt tell you you need a kudo before you can evolve a technique.
I think build variety is going to be the biggest issue long term. I’m never a fan of being forced to pick a certain passive in order to upgrade spells to their evolution, it limits the game waaay too much.
It's a good game but it's very basic for this style, not much in the way of long term playability. Was surprised to see u taking gear lvls over leveling techniques in the beginning lol as the gears lvl doesn't matter for synergies. I know u can increase gear slots (up to 6) and I'm pretty sure u can increase technique slots as well.
Very basic, being forced to pair gears with techniques is going to really limit this game. I never like it when games make you do that…just let me evolve my ability when I max it out.

Thanks for the additional info.
It's getting harder and harder to resist playing this 😅

Great video. What do you think this game needs to improve on so far?

there is a kudo that asks you to get 20k dmg with his ultimate, but his ultimate does no damage :T

I think views are low because temtem fans have been burned hard.
Seems like it
the skills and characters in this game are just poorly designed imo
This game is NOT good
I think the game is a solid 7/10. Not good is a bit of a stretch imo.
@OHRyePlays actually i retract my comment, I learned how synergies work and im having a much better time
