    This is a quick video discussoin looking at cordyceps sinensis. This is a fungus that appears to be able to enhance ATP production, blood oxygenation, testosterone and more. It might be a powerful way to combat overtraining or adrenal fatigue and while it's impossible to rule out placebo, I do feel it might be having those effects for me...
    If you want to check out the studies and get some more detailed information, you can find my full write-up here: www.thebioneer....

    I saw a video just the other day from a very reputable expert on TH-cam. This is about a study of people with cirrhosis of the liver. Here it is: "Out of 22 Cirrhosis patients taking 6 - 9 grams of Cordyceps Sinensis daily, all improved with 68% showing no signs of cirrhosis in subsequent biopsies." This is wonderful news for anyone looking for help in healing cirrhosis!

      What has stopped COPD lung disease dead, In my life, is a little known mushroom in capsules form, called Cordyceps. It is sold in almost any health food store. "Now" is a reliable source and Swanson, is another. Check out on line or TH-cam for the cheapest and best quality cordyceps. All I'm saying is it has all but stopped COPD dead in its tracks. Thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ for all his created things for our health.

    Very useful, I was about to try Cordiceps after reading about it a couple of weeks ago. Actually I do also prefere the fact that is a synthetic one instead of a mummified worm...Anyway, I think it would be interesting if you could do some videos about supplements to raise Testosterone levels or alertness, such as Maca, Ashwaganda, Gaba, Tongkat Ali and so on, maybe focusing on effectiveness, interactions and doses. you make a good case for trying this. I'm a tree surgeon and I'm often heavily fatigued. Too fatigued to exercise a lot of the time, and I find that if I don't take time to train my job gets a lot harder.
    There seem to be a few buying options on Amazon. Have you tried other brands other than the one you've shown here?

    • @AdamSinicki
      @AdamSinicki 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's precisely the kind of scenario it seems to have helped me with. Again, could be placebo but so far it seems pretty promising. I have only tried this one brand. Actually though, it's not ideal as it does not contain the fruiting body. This is something called 'Cs-4', however some of the studies carried out used that form and still found the same things, so maybe it doesn't matter. I haven't found one yet that contains the fruiting body unfortunately. Let me know how you get on with it!
      Oh and tree surgeon is an awesome job :-D

    Synthesized might not be the best choice of words here. Unless you are getting synthetic mushrooms or something it's not synthesized, its cultivated. There are over 500 types of cordyceps and sinensis is one of 500 strains and these days the whole growing out the heads of caterpillars is more of a marketing thing, it catches your eye and its a cool story but it's not how it is cultivated or harvested in the wild these days for that matter. These are vegan friendly as well
    The substrate used these days is pretty typical of other funguses, it's not caterpillars. You're probably getting mycelium and not the fruit bodies as that's what most supplement companies sell. Paul Stamets sells the fruit-bodies if you wanted the real deal.

    So it grows on caterpillars, but they can't cultivate it on caterpillars? It makes me wonder if the products being sold are really the same thing....

    Cordyceps sinesis is not the same as the lab grown, cultivated cordyceps. Wild Cordyceps sinesis go for 20k a kilo and the powder cultivated stuff is super cheap. The wild cordyceps are highly sought out and are considered as gold in Chinese medicine. But I’m sure the lab grown, commercial stuff does do something though

    Did you find that the supplement helped stop on onset of fatigue after exercise as well as the mornings?

      Lol! Then I must congratulate you on your awesome taste in sofas! And I hadn't really noticed the immediate post-workout effect tbh, as that's not something I really experience. Normally after a workout I actually get a pick-me-up through the day. I'll keep an eye on that though and see if I can spot a difference...

I had a subscription to consumerlabs.com, and searched Swanson on many different supplements and they always had a perfect score.

    Whats the difference between sinensis and cs-4? and are there other types?

    • @M3Lucky
      @M3Lucky 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You Want to get cordyceps militaris. The real wild sinensis mushrooms are >$20k per kg. Yes, 20 thousand per kg; it's rare af.
      CS-4 is a crappy lab raised version without the actual fruiting body (mushroom head). Not to mention the CS-4 versions tend to be filled with alot of grain/rice.
      I got Cordyceps-M (militaris) from RealMushrooms. Been 3 days so far and the effects are real.
