I fell in love with this song first back in the late 90's. I kept trying to hum the tune to my husband who LOVED all music and was my music encyclopedia. I am terrible and cannot carry a tune... so I was so happy when it came on the music system once while we were out shopping... I ran to find my husband.... grabbed him and put him under a speaker and said "THIS IS IT!!"...."Listen!!".... he laughed and said "Oh.. I love this song too... its NOTHING like what you kept humming to me!".... hahaha... I lost my sweet husband to cancer, but this song is still a happy memory for me. After I had him listen to it, he bought me the CD.
I had the opportunity to see Robbie Williams live in Mexico City this 2023, the show was constructed song by song until eventually the moment for Angels to be performed came, I really never felt that strength and power in almost any performer before to move your feelings from silly laughing to the deepest sorrow in only one and a half hour. Angels has the power to heal any broken heart at the same time that you accept things as they are. One of the greatest songs never made and such a wonderful showman.

I was born in 1996 and I was lucky to have my parents leave the radio on. I heard so many amazing songs throughout my childhood although it really annoyed me that I could never find these songs since we didn't have internet back then. In December 1997, I was 20 and teaching kids to snow ski at Heavenly Resort in Lake Tahoe.. And as soon as we knew our customers were safely off the mountain... I was busy Drinking St. Pauli Girl with our underpaid staff. When I was ready to ski the backtrails down to employee parking, I would put my headphones, and this tune was playing everywhere... Tahoe and Reno stations played this constantly.. I was Skiing through deep powder while the sun was setting.. God was everywhere.. what a gift.

I was 15 when this song came out, I was in love with it then and I am still in love with it now that I am 37. I had the opportunity to see Robbie Williams live in Mexico City this 2023, the show was constructed song by song until eventually the moment for Angels to be performed came, I really never felt that strength and power in almost any performer before to move your feelings from silly laughing to the deepest sorrow in only one and a half hour. Angels has the power to heal any broken heart at the same time that you accept things as they are. One of the greatest songs never made and such a wonderful showman.

I was born in 1996 and I was lucky to have my parents leave the radio on.
I heard so many amazing songs throughout my childhood although it really annoyed me that I could never find these songs since we didn't have internet back then.
When I grew older, I started using TH-cam in 2006 and I started my journey of rediscovering all the nostalgic songs I heard throughout my childhood.
It took years to find them all.
And the music always brings me back.
I was working in Brunei in 1996 and this was broadcast in on radio Caroline, courtesy of the king of Brunei, I listened to it a hundred times, reminded me so much of back home.

In year 2000 I was student and new in the UK. I heard the song and I was totally blown away by it. 23 years later and I am still listening to it with complete joy and admiration and of course bring back lots of memories. One of the greatest songs ever written, and he sing it beautifully.

In December 1997, I was 20 and teaching kids to snow ski at Heavenly Resort in Lake Tahoe.. And as soon as we knew our customers were safely off the mountain... I was busy Drinking St. Pauli Girl with our underpaid staff. When I was ready to ski the backtrails down to employee parking, I would put my headphones, and this tune was playing everywhere... Tahoe and Reno stations played this constantly.. I was Skiing through deep powder while the sun was setting.. God was everywhere.. what a gift.
I've known this song since in the 90s... it's one of my favorites, but every time I hear it, I don't know how to explain it, it always gives me a feeling of sadness, longing. It's a very strong mix of feelings, it's incredible how this music can move people's souls. Her velvety voice has the gift of reaching deep into the soul. 😔❤🇧🇷
