I have watched this music video near 100 times over the decades and I just noticed how freaking tall that fire fighter is! The character in the video even does a double take. He's like a full head taller than those around him. I feel like it was a basketball player that was buddies with band and wanted to be in one of their music videos lol.

Yeah this song is really nearly perfect...the melody is great, the voice has so much emotion and the lyrics perfectly carry the emotion....but to be fair, even for 80s and 90s music this song was already outstanding back then. One of the best rock ballads ever, maybe the best, but thats a question of taste.

A song for me and my son's mother. She was/is a bad lady in a lot of ways but she gave me the greatest gift, my one and only son. I will always treasure my memories of him as a little boy. It brings tears to my eyes, full of joy and pride in him. He turned out to be a better man than I'll ever be. He turned my failures into bright accomplishments for himself. Yeah this song is really nearly perfect...the melody is great, the voice has so much emotion and the lyrics perfectly carry the emotion....but to be fair, even for 80s and 90s music this song was already outstanding back then. One of the best rock ballads ever, maybe the best, but thats a question of taste.
