@Johnnyboy my wife drove off the side of the angeles crest tumbled down approximately 200 feet. By herself and both hearing aides came out. She walked up the hill in her heels and she actually just walked through our front door. I almost lost her that day. Know what her excuse was? She was passing someone and didn’t know the curve was approaching so quickly. In other words, yeah people get struck by lightning too. But overall the majority can be safe. Condemning the whole riding community because of something personal doesn’t really help anybody. Using those experiences as a learning lesson on what not to do or what to watch out for, now that seems productive… Sorry about your friend. Most guys driving the kern canyon aren’t exactly following the speed limit, I’ve seen them first hand too. I always say, man I could never do that, it’s too dangerous.

A 911 and a (frankly insane sounding!) RS4, definitely goes to show that Matt is a definite car enthusiast and not just some poser with money like a lot of these "TH-cam car guys". An S8 with the V10 Lambo engine would slot into that lineup perfectly too.
The 5.2L V10 engine has been devloped by Audi - the original 5.0L V10 was assembled by Lamborghini, but also development was influenced by Audi after they bought Lamborghini. The engine is actually very European when it comes to the involved people, since development took place in Germany, parts of it has been made in Hungary and the assembling took place in Italy. But yeah, the final version for the R8 V10 and Huracán was mainy a Audi engine. Def. one of the best engines for high-performance tuning, maybe even the best engine for that purpose. But his 997 Turbo is actually also an absolute sleeper - he could easily bring that baby to 2000 HP if he'd want to. That engine is a dream.

What I envy the most about people who have collections like this is the space available and confidence in parking automobiles in there, knowing they won't drip fluids. My folks both drive Toyotas and take good care of them but there's always something dripping once in a while. What I envy the most about people who have collections like this is the space available and confidence in parking automobiles in there, knowing they won't drip fluids. My folks both drive Toyotas and take good care of them but there's always something dripping once in a while. Nothing ruins the image of a clean garage like several layers of cardboard or cat litter to catch drips. >:(
