If this isn't the best free advertising for this guy's services, I don't know what is. Simply amazing, and I love the attention to detail, and the whole CAD thing, using the materials digitally that would be used IRL to get a good cost estimate. The final 3D rendering was also incredible.
The last part where you spoke of letting go of your creation meant alot to me. I am remodeling my condo and going through the same thing as I plan to move then rent. We create and we move forward in our lives. The reward is the expression. The value is in our hearts. Thank you.

As I mentioned to another commenter, it's tough to say because it was for a friend, so I wasn't charging for all the actual design work and modeling and writing machine code and producing the parts, etc. Probably around 25K in materials, though, would be my guess, by the time it was all said and done. Don't quote me on that, but that seems about right. This project was installed in Florida, but I do designs and installations most anywhere.
