I put the 13 tooth on mine to, it makes a difference in the tight trails. If kept a 14 tooth front, when the rear sprocket is shot, a 52 tooth rear could be good with the old 14 back on it
Me and my son talked to you at the holler round 1 at the “nasty” hill climb. I couldn’t believe it was you when I saw you pop up on my TH-cam!! Small world!!
97delkron , I just bought a 2022 and was lucky to get a plate here in WI. I also have a fair amount of roads before the trails. I believe my front is a 14 but plan to install a 15 this winter. I'm finding the gearing way too short, but it is a dirt bike with lights, after all . . . .
Nice 🤘 changing gearing is always fun 😁 that thin chain guard will definitely make it easier to clean. The chain guard on my honda cb400t is always a mess after some light off roading 😅
It’s helped per my backyard test but haven’t had a chance to take it out to the trails and really test it. I don’t think I’d switch back....if anything, I’d go 12T
"Old man Flynch" doesn't understand why people drink beer that doesn't taste like beer...I mean just pour vodka in grapefruit juice...I mean sure I'm an alcohol purist!
I would generally agree with you but in the summer, I like lime in my Corona and grapefruit in my IPA! Sheesh, it's not like I'm drinking White Claw or something! :D

Thanks for the advice! The 13T on front seemed great in my quick backyard test

Yeah I remember! Very cool! Now that hill...I’d rather forget! 🤣 I went back the next weekend and did it no problem, of course it had dried out a lot!
I managed to pull a first at round 2!
@@jeffdeaniii1866 still regretting that I missed that one! 🙃. Congrats on the 🏆!
Thanks for the video Joe! I enjoyed the dry humor during your beer review too. :)
Honestly though...I don't see how that chain guard provides any protection.
@@ZacharyUlrick at least it doesn’t trap a bunch of stuff I can’t even see. That’s the main thing
Glad you got my weird sense of humor 😉
@@nosyjoe Yeah, for sure
weird... my 16 x trainer came with a 13 tooth. i just switched to a 14 as i have good bit of road sections between trails. i also have mine plated.
That’s what I’ve heard - they did it differently on earlier models.

Yep I think that was the right solution, will confirm next time I’m in the mud
I love your comment "not much good comes from Ohio". I agree. lol
Had to throw that out there since it seems half of the motovloggers I watch are from Columbus area! 😂🤣
@@nosyjoe All the folks I follow for the most part are down here in FL. Where I am.

Nice video, how's the gear change working for you?

Btw, thanks for watching and I’ve been following your Beta vids closely as well!
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure, Larry!
