I go into this mind-set when collecting video games as I want to own games I will enjoy & play eventually. I've been collecting video games for a couple of decades now ranging from SNES to today. Also damn 3 copies of Vesperia?! Nice. I own it for the Xbox 360 as well as the definitive edition on PS4.
I find that game collecting normally goes a few ways for people. either A. they don't want to bother selling old games, or B. They wanted to relive their childhood/childhood dreams. Then you're 500 games in and could solve all your debt by selling the collection.....
I also prefer to only buy games I can actually play. With limited space it's not worth buying games I won't play and it would deny the experience of the game to someone who can play it
I come to this with a similar mindset. I collect only the games that I want to play and (usually) only one version of them. Unfortunately for my bank account, I can't really think of a game that I wouldn't ever want to boot up at least once for a laugh. For example, it's a personal point of pride that I go out of my way to specifically collect infamously bad video games (Duke Nukem Forever, Clive Barker's Jericho, Sonic '06, etc) because one of the joys of gaming for me is wrestling with terrible design to overcome a challenge.
I find collecting to be essential in a world where digital only downloads will be a reality in my lifetime.
Keep these types of videos up bro! I subbed

I actually got the Switch version of Vesperia pretty recently, had to get it for the portability 😄
