Please consider repeating this principle with driver. The weight shifting, hitting up and not getting caught in back foot are challenging for me with driver. Thanks for considering.
I have been doing speed sticks this year. Got distance. But struggled to get 110 out of sticks(I am a slider). Found posting more on front gave me immediate 110 with speed sticks and my driver. Got force peddles for Christmas. Found also posting more kept my head behind ball at impact. I have never had this happen. I was shocked at video. I think force peddles are going to change my swing with speed sticks. Incredible changes.
I suffer from this and have just ordered some force pedal training aids to help me get it fixed as it plagued me for years. Quick question - I'd just want to know, is the movement to line up ankle, knee and hip towards the target (pressure on outside of the left foot and then pushing up) or are you pushing into the ball of your left foot (knee bending and going forward towards the ball and then pushing up) Cheers and thanks for a great video 👍
I struggle with this too. Look up a video of “separating lead shoulder from chin on downswing” I’ve had this problem of not separating shoulder from chin and it pulls my head forward. The video on u tube is called “peeling the shoulder off the chin”. I have only found two videos on this. I can’t believe there isn’t any more on this. Maybe not many people have this issue.

I've heard so many TH-cam coaches talking about squatting in the downswing but I've never heard you mention it.
Do you recommend doing that?
Always very useful information. Thank you.
You're welcome, Rich C!
What course was this filmed at please? Heading to Brisbane for work for 3 months and looking for somewhere to practice?
perfect explanation great job guys
Glad you liked it!
very helpful video Thanks
How do you keep your head from moving forward when shifting your pressure forward? I struggle with keeping my head behind the ball at impact

Great video!
Love to hear it! Thanks for the comment 👍
I get flaring the left foot out to get more hip turn through impact but doesn't that also restrict your hip turn in the backswing?
So well explained. Thank you Kerrod 10:18
You're welcome, Andrew!
Where do we get those foot pads
The key is not to let your lead knee get outside the line of your foot. And this also works for the trail foot in the backswing.
This! I didn’t realize I was doing it till I looked in the mirror. It was bad
Nice
Push and rotate is not long enough for weight transfering...
I’m sorry, I lost it at “the ground pushes back” the ground is static, perhaps it feels as though the ground pushes back.
Who is the other pro?
Richard Woodhouse, it’s in the description.
