- Perseverance and hard work are two keys to becoming a good dad. This week Ron & Miquon tell their story about being there for each other even when you don't feel like it. What does fatherhood look like for you when you commit to being there for others - through thick and thin?
In THE FATHERHOOD PROJECT filmmaker Corbyn Tyson explores what it means to be a good dad. This is a series that looks at what it means to be a father today.

Soul Pancake whoever you are, THANK YOU. You've given some direction that's part of my path as a life skills teacher in jail/prison. Thank you
These never fail to make me appreciate my dad. He was flawed, but his heart was big. I love this project! Keep up the amazing work.
The little gestures carry the most heart warming sentiments
The relationships that we are more than capable of being on this beautiful earth...
This proves family isn't about blood its all about who's their for you.
This is my favourite episode. I love this story, and the example they give; you don't have to be family, but you have to be "there" care for the other person.thank you
These videos never fail to make me cry or put a smile on my face :')
Love this project and videos! Growing up I learned my dad was no super hero he had mistakes and did wrong but looking back he was always a super hero I sometimes failed to see it.
One of the best series soul pancake has done!

On it! Though what are the details you'd need?
still wish they would do a family with two mothers who are partners. Like what it would be like with two moms instead of a dad.
kyra is me that in that video Ron is my uncle bronchi is my uncle Miquon is my dad I keep watching this uncle Ron is the best uncle Kiana is a brat I am so flexible know
Why dad's only? Why not mothers who stepped in to take on both roles?
Women cannot be fathers to their children
Every kid needs a father... Men are the only beings that can take the role as dad. It doesn't have to be biological, but women can't be fathers. They can be amazing mothers.
Kirsten Josephs on sorry but my GRANDMOTHER took on the role of grandma, grandpa, mom AND dad (at least until we found out who he was) so don't tell me women can't be DADS not what you would call FATHERS, but dads sure. LOVE YOU G-MA
there's already a ton of that. its funny i say this all the time
if you see a woman at the park with two kids and ones yelling and screaming at her, you think to yourself "OMG listen to that kid, well the mother lets it happen" alternatively if you saw a father at the park with two kids and one was screaming and yelling at him you'd think "what a good dad being there with his kid, wow hes dealing with the screaming well"
i cant say this is a scenario that would consistently play out but it seems to be the norm standard.
To be a good mom you have to be super woman a jack of all trades, that's why mothers day is a way bigger deal that fathers day.
to be a dad you just have to be there.....
its sad bud the roles of paternal guidance in the past several decades is deplorable if held to the same standard as that of a mother.
To be a good dad all you have to do is shows up (legit, no excuses dead beats) . Its sad that, that is the height of the bar but hopefully some people see this the same way i do, and try to step up where maybe their dad didnt.
nick longstaffe that's stupid, stfu.
