    Golly, I love this. I teared up a bit about their 'older son' because they just love on him with no judgement. That's what more of this world needs: love love love. Thanks for making such an inspirational video, SoulPancake. :)

    I love this series it really applies to everyone, not just fathers. i am an introvert that only lets a select few people into my life. I always fear heart break and its about time i start taking risks trust people for once in my life. Thanks for this wonderful story

    I personally love this specific episode more than the rest. It takes a lot of guts to have such an unusual family, and I have a lot of respect for a family that loves unconditionally regardless of what your kids do.

    Corbyn-
    Thank you for introducing the world to Cory and Shannan's story. Showing this couple and their rise to taking risks on their kids and their family should hopefully show many people what it means to live fully without judgment toward others. We are all very much similar at our core. It only takes a little bit of caring and understanding to realize this.

    Why hasn't more ppl shared this family's story!?! This is what people need to see not all the hate and division that's only making ppl more divided and scared of the fellow man instead of trying to get to know, respect, and coexist together!❤️

    I am not a dad, but a daughter. What will I remember about my dad? I will remember that we became closer and closer the older I grew. Odd? Maybe. I will remember that we share the same sense of humour, that he is the one person who can always make me feel better, that he shows me his love and affection openly, that he gives the best hugs and makes a great pillow ;-) I think he (and my mom) always try give me what I need, they support me in many ways, but they never spoiled me. Being selfless is something I believe in and I think adoption and welcoming people from all walks of life into your life and family is a great thing. Taking risks is more my Mums area of expertise, but while he is slightly more careful my dad never discouraged me from trying things out, being adventurous and exploring. I am currently on a year in NZ, which is about as far way from my family as it gets. It will be over soon and I experienced so much here - and I always felt that I could be adventurous and daring and independent because whenever I faltered or thought of giving up my dad was there to give me that little push you sometimes need. I believe that this kind of support is something that will continue to help me not only to get through life but to actually live and enjoy every moment even after he might be gone (which hopefully won't happen for a long time).

    I think having a good career and teaching your children to be selfless are not mutually exclusive. For one thing, without a good career, those kids will have a tough time affording college without any financial help. The reason I want a good career and am investing in my education instead of in my interest of being a wandering nomad is because I want to have the money to travel with my family and pay for my kids' college so they don't end up in piles of debt.

    • @markmcarthur5090
      @markmcarthur5090 10 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I'd agree that a good career isn't in any way a bad thing, but what would be important is to make sure the career doesn't come first. As long as the career doesn't exclude anything important, nothing important has to exclude the career.

    • @freakinbunny
      @freakinbunny 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Having a good career is a good thing but now a days insted of having a good career in something you love we go for the stress of getting a career with more money I believe that might be what he said.

    I quest about guy who want to dads. their kids including fetus's with are babies. if the mother suddenly brake up & have the baby removed before it could survive out side for vary long. I know it her body not his decision but still it hurt to lose child know be completely power less to help them.my question how show they deal with it. mean Michael Moore if don`t want an abortion do have one should sound really stupid to them. screaming feminist men can never have babies & should talk about it. sounds personal in sensitive especially to those try remain pro choice. & you wanted men who have feeling who so should they do? not feel just guy just want have sex & go? have feeling just conceal them. ? try us their own bodies as life support artificially transferring nutrients from blood. no that offend us to much.
