Real title: Most of the December spotlights are complete garbage and you'll be wasting lots of keys.
Facts. I'm only thinking of getting Doom99 with tokens.

Yeah, the Bruce Banner spotlight cache seems the best since you're also getting two cards that synergise really well with him. But the rest of the spotlight caches range from bad to mediocre.
I think the core issue is the amount of series 4 cards who're getting the spotlight caches. Also, how the hell did Kate Bishop get a rerun before Zemo and Gwenpool? This is just absurd to me.

It's crazy because I only rate the Gladiator cache everything else feels very skippable
Worth noting that it appears Daken has a variant bundled in the Jan season pass, so if you don't have him and are planning on picking that up you can essentially play him for free
Yup, a fire variant too. I've been trying to get a gold split on my horseman of death variant since like Oct.
I will bet that the Daken variant is a part of the "super premium season pass" they are preparing.

Pretty awful spotlight caches in December. The only returning series 5 cards are high Evo (which doesn't interest me) and Blob, which I already have. Pretty sure I'm not getting many cards this month. Although as a Wiccan player, Peny Parker looks amazing

@@justinedgar6980 Not for Wiccan decks. With Peni you have your turns 2 & 3 solved. Just run Quicksilver and you have Wiccan ready to go.

I’m so upset they replaced Hit-Monkey with Daken. It feels deliberately insulting with how polluted these caches are with series 4 cards

I have a feeling they don't have a variant. Its actually quite possible given that the hit-monkey variant datamined was blank, that it was actually made by the studio that got in trouble for the AI art on White Queen and Dracula, since those variants changed to blank when they removed them from the bundles.

First keys I’m spending are on Bruce, Revonna, and High Evo
The moonstone week should be atleast a 4 * week just purely on moonstone and marvel boy with caiera being a bonus. Moonstone in patriot shell is going to be irreplaceable while being really good in zoo decks too.
I skipped this month’s season pass and really didn’t play at all. These caches do not make me want to play again.
Same. Really sucks after two years that I am not having fun with the game. All the December spotlights are terrible and not worth spending resources on for one card.
First month since launch I have barely played and the joy seems to be gone. Been so hesitant to stop because the barrier to re-entry is basically nonexistent but I can’t keep playing a game that feels like work. Deleted the app a couple days ago and trying to stay strong.
Penny Parker week is a 5 out of 5 for me. I don't have Gladiator or Sasquatch and want both and Penny's mechanics are right up my ally, AND she's another spider person for the collection.
at 2:26 I think the editor added an extra star by mistake(Jeff says its 2/5 while 3 stars show on screen). Unsure how TH-cam works if that can be fixed but I know the editor has done great on all the vids.

Will try to not open any spotlight caches. I want to save for Grandmaster/Kate Bishop. I am at around 2,000 CL. Having these cards would definetely open many new archtypes and possibilities for me! I always loved the concept of Grandmaster! And Kate Bishop is an enabler and fits into any deck like Nico so thats just a no-brainer!
So tell me why all the cool marvel rival collab cards are together with some of the worst/oldest s4/5 cards. Then next month are all actually good spotlight cashes

December is an extremely bad spotlight month... And I am saying this as a new player that doesn't have any of those cards. Gonna pull only for X-23 and Luna in December.
But January looks good. Victoria hand is indeed a 5/5 stars for many of us. Also, Moonstone week looks pretty good... Not certain about Bullseye week, but I will wait and see.

I like to plan for weeks where I am missing more than one card. Unfortunately I have all the cards in the spotlight caches these months.
Same. Be prepared to blow a lot of keys on variants and 1k token slots, or blow your tokens. I hate this system.

December I think im aiming for doom and rocket/groot Almost got 6 tokens and with the gold budle this month will get me another chunk of tokens. think i might still have to use keys for rocket/groot. but december is a horrible spotlight wheres sersi and hydra bob at there a couple of the only cards im missing and i need them to show up. serries 4 cards should not be in the caches your basically giving an unclear value on keys. because serries 5 cards cost twice the tokens as serries 4. i dont think any serries 4 should be on spotlights and they should put serries 4 back on the collection track with serries 3 cards. the 4th slot should give you the token value of the duplicate card. for this system to be good to me i need to skip spotlights for a year not getting any cards at all and then after a year ill have more then one card i need in each spotlight. right now i only ever dont own one of the cards so its a total waste of resources to say these are 6 k token variants are crazy tbh a lot of the spot light variants are trash art and not even close to the best art work for that card

Pretty misleading title, only 1 week is even worth it. December cards are a bunch of series 4 cards and unplayable/mid series 5 cards.

That was a datamine and it was incorrect. December caches are confirmed now by second dinner which is why this video was up a bit later for me than other creators. I always make sure the current month is locked in before posting.

There are no series drops confirmed beyond December. I would be surprised if they drop things two months in a row.
