The constant complaining from people not being able to build decks in these videos I work hard to put together has become really grating. I'm deleting the ones posted so far and banning people making them moving forward. Please direct your complaints to Second Dinner - not my comments section.
I just bought scorn last night (just came back after a 4 or 5 month break) love how much more viable she has made dracula decks. I'm playing the version that would have Malekith (so no swarms) but I don't have Malekith yet, so playing Miek instead. Loving the deck. I am thinking about getting Malekith though, as the stealth Morbius plays look very nice. Thinking about getting Arishem, too though, as is like High Evo in the sense that it is basically an archetype in of itself, without needs lots of new cards. High Evo was my first buy when I last came back off a break, for a similar reason.
I do think Thanos/destroy deserves an honorable mention because it makes really great use of two underplayed cards which are Angel and Misery. Misery can be used on your stones to thin out your deck and discount Death. Angel can be used to no only thin out your deck but your hand as well because one of the issues Thanos decks can face is having a full hand which can be crucial against DH who relies on your deck size. Sadly I don't own Misery (although I do think Lady Deathstrike is a fine replacement) but that deck does something more unique with destroy imo. Zoo decks are also doing well imo, the inclusion of Gorr can benefit the list since you can just dump some cheap on reveal cards and seal the deal with Gorr. You also have Mockingbird who gets easily discounted by Squirrel Girl and Shanna and of course Gilgamesh who can have an absurd power range.
I agree with Thanos Destroy being good. Angel helping to "thin out" your hand/deck has come clutch so many times. This might be my favorite place to play Angel
Wondering which folks think is a better card investment between Anti-Venom and Gorr for someone who is mostly collection complete? They both seem interesting and potentially playable long term.
Zemo is also a good deck right now imho. It attacks Gorr really well and can generally keep up with Arishem thanks to good card advantage cards like Cable or Zemo himself. I found the Discard matchup more challenging though.
I've been playing for two years, paying $20 per month, finishing all quests, and I STILL don't have any of these decks filled out. This is getting ridiculous.
Honest question, does anyone actually LIKE diner?I don't know that I've heard anyone with even a neutral opinion on it, let alone positive. Personally, it just feels like ladder with a few additional elements that all feel bad.
I enjoy it. I like that it feels like it has bigger stakes than ladder or conquest. I also like how the latent bub refill somewhat blunts the sting of going bust. Additional free stuff is cool too.
It’s made me play the game even less. I dabble in Pokémon pocket and they have an event where you can get a new card. It’s relatively easy and it kept me playing the game longer than it usually does because I wanted to get the other variants. Who would’ve thought that making a card relatively easy to get will potentially make players interact with your game more 😂
I actually like it. The mode has stakes. My play goes to nearly zero if I don't have a goal to compete towards. I personally found high voltage to be insufferable. It just felt like a pointless grind because the game results did not matter.

Especially since you take the time to provide sub options for high series cards (unlike some others), this totally makes sense!

Gorr is the new Red Hulk, Blob, or Ajaxx. A big boi that wins a location by himself. 10/10 would buy him again
