No doubt about that. I'm still concerned about Michigan's QB situation. And there's one element that St Louis might be missing. Might have to talk about that in a video very soon 🤔
@@johnlewissports Once Perez picked up the playbook, and timing, he looked like another OU unstoppable QB. The growing pains hurt, but paid off in the end.
@@austinwilburn143 One of the criticisms I heard of Perez was that he had limitations and Arlington worked around it. The only limitation I saw was exactly what you pointed out: he was learning the plays. He got it and they got the championship.
Chef Cookus is going to build a great chemistry with Adam's,Overton & Surrat! The running game will be extremely productive aswell with Victor &Brooks in the backfield. I'm excited for this team all around!!! Go Boats🛳!!!
I think that all hinges on the success of 2024 AND if there are venues available for those teams to play in AND if the cities want them there. A lot of TBDs heading into 2025
Mine are 1. Stallions 2. Battlehawks 3. Defenders Stallions are just hard to argue against at #1. I think it's certainly possible they don't win a third straight championship but you have to give them the benefit of the doubt at this point. Dont really disagree with your guys' picks except maybe Memphis. They don't have a great roster and I think Case Cookus is an above average QB but over-rated by a lot of people. I know DiFilippo is coming in from a much better performing Breakers team, but I'm not sold just yet. Overall with these dispersal drafts an insane amount of talent has become concentrated on 8 teams now. Really the Panthers are the only team I'm ready to bet against for this upcoming year.
I'm not sure about the Panthers either. Just seems if there's a lack of depth, especially at skill positions, it's Michigan. I agree with Nicholas: if Te'amu comes back to whatever team (assuming the Defenders) that's a huge boost immediately. Like that top 3!
@justinczech1489 DC was good in stopping the run, but dreadful in passing defense. Williams gets a lot of pub for his personality, but when you start looking at the numbers, I think a lot of people would agree with you.
@@johnlewissports yeah to anyone that doubt it, the Orlando tape, the championship game, and the 1pt win in Seattle are all examples of what I mean. Slants. Slants all day he will never back out of cover 1 man
Love that Stallions QB room even without McGough. Interested to see if Perez plays a full season with Arlington what that could look like. Hopeful for the Battlehawks with all those offensive weapons and the defense too!
The Renegades? Let's be honest they stank for some reason, they won it all, and it's funny that Arlington is the headquarters. Same thing with Birmingham Birmingham us the USFL hub headquarters. The 2 headquarters teams win the Championship, come on now.. Not saying I don't give Birmingham credit. They are a good team. I just hate that they beat my stars. We were actually built champions of that first season until Case Cookus as got hurt. 😫 But there's no excuse. We didn't come back and get there again, so..... I salute the Stallions and I do love their coach.! Birmingham and St. Louis are my 2 favorite coaches.. I resent that they took away Philadelphia, New Orleans and Seattle my other favorite teams. I'll hate the show boats for as long as they have. Those fake delete uniforms. Bring back the authentic Reggie White Showboats.!!!!
That Luis Perez trade mid-season was a big reason why Arlington won. I can't buy into those conspiracy theories with football. Way too many moving parts on any level to rig a whole championship. Case Cookus might be the savior in Memphis! And as much as I like the new Showboats unis, it would be sweet if they had a throwback uni for a game or two. Might be a little expensive for the league right now though.
Who are your top 3 teams? Let me know! 👇
⚔️🦅 BATTLEHAWK NATION!

AJ McCarron is back in St Louis, USFL DPOY Frank Ginda is also back in Michigan. Those two teams vastly improve.

@@johnlewissports Michigan is a ground n pound type of team, old school. But I think Danny Etling isn’t that bad.
SHEILDS UP 🛡️🛡️
Reggie Barlow might be able to get it done this year. Love him as a coach!
@@johnlewissports For sure 🛡️ McClendon is a great fit as well
Let’s go Houston Gambling Roughnecks.
The Roughlers/Gamblenecks
Josh Allen sounds different off the field
Nicholas is looking to be Josh's stunt double when he gets into movies
