This potion turned out great! It's one of my favorites. The shape of the bottle really lends an extra element to the aesthetic of the potion bottle. It was very clever of you to use a tear drop shape for the labels. Perfect really. Love this!! ☺
So beautiful and thoughtful in design, as always!! I love your potions. I have made most of them for my potions shelf. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity and magic with us!✨

I think this is my new favorite potion! I'm really glad you made this a companion piece for the phoenix feathers as well. This is so well done, now I must try it too! haha Thanks a bunch for making this!! :D
Awesome and so clever!! Quick question, how does the paint/alcohol hold up overtime in the bottle? I plan on making some potions, and have seen multiple ways to do it. Just want to find the best way
I made one for my mage costume for the ren fair - I used an empty hot sauce bottle, and filled it with black sand layered with black, silver, dark brown and holographic glitter, then I shook it vigorously to mix them. I hand-lettered the label, tore the edges & then singed them, and applied it with Mod Podge. I made a little "cage" from leather straps so I could wear it on my belt. I covered the plastic cap with leather, too.
In the books Phoenix tiers are describe as being thick and silvery. Using a shimmery silver liquid hand soap would be a better choice. Or a mix of silver metallic paint and with clear roll on glue and a little rubbing alcohol to keep it slightly liquid but not enough to make it totally liquid. Edit... just thinking about it maybe using mineral oil with pearl powder in it as it would have the right viscosity and the powder would stay suspended in it much better.
Your statement is actually incorrect. In chapter 17, Chamber of Secrets, it states "Harry blinked. Fawkes’s head slid in and out of focus. Thick, pearly tears were trickling down the glossy feathers." No mention of color or hue is stated, only the effect of pearlescents, therefore it's up to the imagination to create the color.
@@tiptonniese107 that's true but when you think of pearly what's the first color you think of? Silver or white are the first things I think of. But sure you are correct it is up to the maker what color they use.
@@seangere9698 well actually I think of multicolored effects www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.kppigments.com/media/arw/brochure/KP-Pigments-Web-Brochure.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwi5xar9r53nAhVUmXIEHYQhDR8QFjAAegQIBBAC&usg=AOvVaw1xoMOK7JjXgjPqAterz1DO
My paint does not mix with the alcohol, it just breaks in to pieces and sits on the bottom...I use acrylic paint and rubbing alcohol so what is happening here?
@@lorrainesaunders9758 that’s odd. I’ve never had that issue 😕. Your alcohol should be a milky gold color when the mica settles but when it is shaken up you should get the pretty gold swirls.
Can you do a tutorial on how to make your own label’s please. Your videos are amazing and I absolutely enjoy seeing the creations you make.

I made this but used clear hair gel, mother of pearl paint, and just a bit of iridescent glitter. Beautiful job!
Wow. Another great one. Thanks for your great tutorial and clear instructions.
So cool, I'm always so excited for your videos.
Love this and your nails!

Awesome and so clever!!

Mine have held up for years 😊
Perfect! Beautiful work! 💗
Another awesome potion! I love how it turned out and that it coordinates with the Phoenix Feathers 🤩
Love this potion...it looks great!
Oh my goodness I have to make this today 😭
Could you maybe do a sopophorous bean diy? Your potions are awesome:)
Frida Westlin that may be a future video, 😉thanks for watching!
Cool!
This is such a awesome DIY! I love how it came out!
Hi there! My metallic acrylic paint isn't mixing up in 70% or 99.9% rubbing alcohol. What am I doing wrong? Thank you
I enjoyed this, thank you.
You need one for Phoenix ashes from their burning day now.
Katmare Sparkles that is already planned 😉

I can't get or find the bottle anywhere! ☹️
When using rubbing alcohol do you have to use a rubber cork or is a sealed regular cork ok
A sealed cork is ok too
I wish that phoenix tears was real in real life so that we can heal any diseases and a happier longer life
You make the stickers?
Bálint Váncsa Yes I design all of my labels. 😊

How old is your paint??
I'm having the same issue. I just bought the paint today. Any tips? Is it meant to separate?
@@CookingandCraftChick it's new
@@CookingandCraftChick I also bought new alcohol just in case this was the problem but nope, would not mix at all.
