Yyuuupp I’m thinking right up there with the best I’ve ever hear I mean I love my major chord happy goose but they very rarely go this evil an minor an wwwoooww did they flip a switch at 17min mark holy hell
Oh god to be you! My first show was a burner but man! I woulda given a lot to be there for this! This is as good as they’ve given us thus far this is madness! God I love seeing them flipping it to the dark minor stuff but still it’s goose wow!!!
The first time I listened to this I remember between 12:30 and 13:00 Rick plays a few notes to just kind of hint at the incoming darkness but you still don’t know whether or not it’s definitely coming because they let it creep in so slowly it’s incredible how perfectly this song progresses
Went to this with my buddy after Taboose in Reading being our first show having been phish fans and let me tell you, THE GOOSE IS FUCKIN LOOOSE!!! The Mezz level was getting funky up high during both nights of superb and fantastic jamming! Thank you goose! 🪿
Completely forgot what song they were even playing halfway through but all that mattered was that whatever they were doing this night helped to break down any mental barriers I was holding onto which allowed me to become one with the music, the band and the people around me! And to me that very feeling is the spirit of truly incredible music!
I was not planning on having a big night. Couple beers at the bar after watching the stream. Then this happened. Watched this at home and proceeded to go full send all evening. Didn’t have a choice.
Omg the fans absolutely knew this was one of the best jams they have given us thus far the crowd at around 17min mark just gives me such utter chills they are getting ssooo good!!!
Thanks for this! Was a great show. Let's do it again tonight. Also the mix of this sound is superb. You can hear every instrument clearly the entire time.
@@rafedanos3995 I was there completely sober and couldn't have been more blown away. I thought the Echo jam on 12/30 in Cincy was great but this is another level
It seems to me these guys have arrived at a new level. I heard them on 12/30/22 in Cincinnati and that was so amazing. And how their jamming just shifts and morphs depending on who is driving it at the time. I will say the version of Slow Ready with Lucius blows me away every time I listen to it.
@@keithrose4227able I first heard of it in 1969 referring to the Allman Brothers Band. Were you even alive then. That was a quote from Rolling Stone Magazine, also referring to the Grateful Dead. So F.O.
Blessed to have witnessed this in person last night. The first 13 minutes are nothing special. But they go FULL EVIL 👿 Goose the last 15 and transported the entire audience into an unknown dimension. Forgot who I was, where I was and then Rick gently brought us all back to Earth. Some poor guy behind me on doses had a mental breakdown after this and never recovered. He spent the rest of the night curled up in his chair. Hope he’s ok.
I’m back for my weekly listen to the GOAT Echo. Still wrapping my head around the fact that I was there. 🔥
Jam of the year
I think everyone in the building and live stream knew this was on fire! The fact that it’s out this early the next morning proves it!
Goose on Fire, sounds like a fun poster
Was there and I 100% agree with this statement.
MY JAM OF THE YEAR, ‘23
This Band Goose are superb and remind me so much of the Grsteful Dead and Jerry Garcia's solos.I sincerely hope they play in Europe sometime soon!
And the live chats a kind chat too...totally called this in stream..❤⚡💙💀🌹👍🏼👊🏼👌🏼💃
I find his solos and guitar tone much more like Trey than Jerry. The fan scene reminds me more of a Widespread Panic/Phish hybrid.
Rick also has a fantastic vocal style, really enjoy Goose lyrics, there is a search for something higher going on there.
@@SkelatorRevisited my thoughts exactly.
Your joking right?
Best Echo I’ve ever heard. JOTY so far!

That tasty solo @14 mins in reminds me of a boss battle
Great groove. Has a Dead/Phish feel to their sound. Love that people are still chasing the GD sound and vibe.
With a great singer to boot!
