Despite technical difficulties that drove them from the stage twice these guys rose from the ashes to produce an incredible set. Last night Goose turned into a Phoenix! Awesome!
This was my first time seeing Goose (loyal 30+ year Phish fan here)... I had heard of them here and there, but really started to pay attention after the Trey Band tour last fall. I have to honestly say I was blown away this weekend. They absolutely exceeded expectations and laid down a thunderous few shows here in Seattle. Hype earned; Roof blown.
There is something to be said here....I was able to start dinner while checking this song out, proceed to burn dinner as I became so involved in the song, then clean the wreckage, start again, eat, and then clean up (again) with all the dishes being taken care of while listening to the latter half of the jam and then being able to make and enjoy some tea at the end. This was a George Costanza trifecta moment. Well played fellas...I went back for seconds on this take of the song. Fucking yummy
Never heard of them but impressed. Looks like an expensive show to have on the road. Has been a lifetime since I was last at the Paramount. I am an old guy. Will have to look them up. But it brings back memories of some folks that are no longer around. Nice to see people who can play their instruments.
🥵🥵🥵 This is next level! I’d be okay with more technical difficulties if this is how you come back swingin’! With this long of a jam, you worry about losing interest at some point, but this did not at all! Well done!!!!
After Peter started strumming the guitar with his shoe around 38 minutes, the jam that ensues for three minutes, I expected all instruments to burst into flames right at the 41 minute mark! Jesus, what a jam.
Their evolution still impresses me so much. It’s noticeable how comfortable they have gotten up there together and that lends itself to some beautiful group improvisation, these guys got IT, whatever it is. Also that groove at 12:40 wow!
Not for nothing but the lighting engineer is brilliant Everything about this band is top shelf. Can't wait to see them live. Till then clips like this aren't too shabby either. Thanks to OP. Thanks Goose and support team ....well done.
This is incredible, the cooldown at 20 mins had some Madhuvan vibes? I love what Goose is doing by growing these songs...Echo is the best example today wow
Wow, y'all are so easily pleased. I could play this along with them in time, add to it, having never heard the song. This is jam 101. Kindergarten to a Phish PHd. But enjoy the show. Just DONT FUCK WITH MY PHISH.amatuers... pshh
@@agropsychonaut so you could play along yet you don’t play in a band selling out multiple venues…sounds like you’re not living up to your potential. Do better ya know like Goose is. Hang onto Phish all ya want they’re amazing but their time is near. Honk.
I'm blown away every time I listen to this... I've always loved Echo, but it's becoming one of my favorites all over again. Hope to get it in Louisville!
My brother introduced me to the art you guys put out, and this was my first ever Goose show! I have to say that after seeing you boys live last night I’m grateful for the things you guys do for your fans! Definitely going to try and see another show in the future! 🪿
This show was so amazing. They channeled the technical difficulties into one of the best ever. Both nights amazing. Washington state loves Goose!!! How about New Years in Seattle 🎉!!!
The extended instrumental jam was never boring. The melodic variations and syncopated rhythm were truly captivating. This is my first listen to the band, there will be many more.
@Google Sucks Ass you clearly dont understand phish. They are just vamping two chords exactly the same way, only slightly changing tone color, with solos. Keys dont change, bass line the same. But im glad you think theyre the same. Now i know you dont play in a jam band...
Incredible. My buddy was at the show and texted me about the PA delay. I had a feeling that was only going to add to the greatness that night. Was not expecting a 45 minute slapper. Well done. Well done.
I too thought that they were nothing but a phish rip off… couldn’t dig their sound… then I went and saw them LIVE… and it clicked. I danced hooted hollered and even on at least one occasion yelled goooooose…. Phish will always be the best band ever… but goose is fun AF! I’m excited to see more and to now have a new band to dig on. Phish and goose on!!
Hopefully they post Eugene Oregon show soon cuz id like to know if anyone hears alittle WSP Hatfield groove....be nice to hear Rick parley that into a Dream song cover....sick show !!!
These guys seem fun the jam sounds good yet I can't say I'm blown away. They dont really have anything unique to bring to the table. They sound like a phish cover band.. I haven't seen them live yet though so maybe I'll give that a try :)
Don’t get me wrong. I love these guys, but they seem to take sooo long to actually get into a groove/jam. They need to start hitting the experimental button much sooner.
Work on harmonies, read more books and the hundreds or so that were ripped off in eug prolly will never give you another listen. I will thou bc I love you. Become less of a jam band. Jam bands are like porn. They don't pay attention to the song?
they’re fun. but i don’t really like that their jams seem to always be led by the guitarist. the band name is atrocious. love to hate em. hopefully they grow on me.
Hate to tell you folks. Any 3rd year instrumentalist who listens can do this with their eyrs closed. They are no phish. Ill be back with the Agronauts, and when i do ive got something for you...
😭please no one be mad at me bc this is peak goose, and this might just be my edibles, but is Ricks guitar turned wayyy too up in the mix on this? Bc I don’t think it was on the soundboard

Phenomenal bounce back, one of the more dynamic jams to date really went so many places, SO GOOD!
Finally getting it . They were decent before Time to loosen up .. nailed it
45 MINUTES OF FUCKING JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM

DARK DARK jam and loved every second of it…what an elevation man
These guys are getting better every night.
Dudes.. I forgot how Fuckin Smokin the jams were in this Echo.. sick 🤘
So grateful to see the boys. My trip from Alaska was rewarded. Despite the difficulties in the beginning of the show. Thank you guys!
❤🎉
Grateful. Got it.
firing on all cylinders throughout this mesmerizing jam. well done

I saw them live Sunday. One of the best live performances I’ve ever seen 🔥🔥🔥
Can't stop listening to this version, can't believe I was there! How do these guys make so much magic, its incredible!!!!

They just had to one-up Phish’s epic 43 minute Berkley Tweezer 🤣 this is so sick!

I am in awe of how these guys nail the art of disappearing behind the music, even when in full shred mode.
Best birthday shows ever. That DARK JAM absolutely destroyed!!!!🔥🔥🔥
This show was so amazing. They channeled the technical difficulties into one of the best ever. Both nights amazing.

Mind was absolutely blown during this jam. I thought they were going to blow the speaker a few times!
So glad you made it through the technical difficulties!
Y'all painted a masterpiece here, out of your angst came greatness. Bravissimo!
Great show, thank you!

Perfecto 💯 todo lo mejor para ellos gran banda
Great version, and I dig Rick's haircut, which he needed to see his guitar!

Just incredible

One of my favorites
3/24/23 The Met was good.... Even gettin hotter
Can someone make a setlist/timeline for this show? Thank you!!
While I do love the exploration in this jam I think I prefer the Philly Echo because the high points of that top this one. Just my opinion though.
wholly strumboly!
Still wish the sound wouldn’t have sucked in the venue. Paramount can’t handle that bass
Fucking wild!
