Sitting on my chair in Chicago she took me to a magnificent place that is out of my imagination. This girl is fearless and goes to the areas that I dare not go even in a jeep by myself. God bless her and saves her. She is just one of a kind.
My favorite day is when Professor Noraly takes us riding through amazing landscapes, hiking up the rocks and explains how unique geological formations formed millions of years ago and shows us the cool quiver trees…bonus! 🤩
It used to be said: "To be educated, one must travel" Noraly.. you are one of the most inquisitive, adventurous and "educated" of this generation. We salute you.
The drone footage of Noraly in these vast and empty landscapes makes her look so insignificant and yet she remains very significant to us followers of her channel. I love the geology information she includes as much as the beautiful footage and other content in her videos.
What a relief, Noraly! You had many of your fans anxiously searching the internet for news, I'm sure. That walking in rocky places makes me think of snakes, above all else.
Howdy IB! Wow the Giants playground is also a Geologist dream? Between this and the Caldera I imagine this adventure is making your day! Great job showing us the wonderful country of Namibia! Saddle up n ride on!
Noraly, this is now one of my favourite videos of all your journeys. Not only for what you shared with us, but mainly for your courage and entrepreneurship and never forgetting geological and historical data. You are the best! Keep it up! Be safe.
This was so worth waiting for, Noraly. A great feature for us geologists to see that we would not otherwise have seen. Please continue with your insights on the geomorphology of those interesting parts of Africa!
I for one, really appreciate it when you explain the geological features that you're transferring through because I love geology when I was in college it wasn't my major but I'm always been interested in it. I love how you can explain and inform us of things that most of us unfortunately will never have the opportunity to see in our lifetimes. So thank you for doing that please keep doing that because to me that's exciting. PS I Love your channel
When I was in primary school in Keetmanshoop there was a road right up to the rim of the Brukaros caldera (which we did in fact think was a crater). Beautiful landscape and interesting geology!
These landscapes are stunning in so many ways! And learning how they became what they are today is a bonus that you can only get here on the channel. A really great video again!
The quartz veins and the size of giants playground seen from above are absolutely amazing! And thanks so much for the geological explanations, super interesting to hear!!🥰
What an impressive episode again. You must also be a top drone pilot to shoot the footage in these strong winds in the caldera. In your explanations of the various formations your love for your profession shines trough! Well done and keep them coming!
It just so happens that I'm teaching my daughter geology as part of her grade 4 homeschooling and we found your channel last month by coincidence! I mean, I watched initially because of my love for Africa, not knowing that you are also a geologist. Synchronicity!
I'm sure you are a busy lady but when you have some free time you should check out her other seasons. Season one has 125 videos. None are boring. Then all the other seasons after that. Enjoy.

I feel so fortunate to have discovered your channel as it always makes me smile while I'm learning about our beautiful world.
I am not a geologist but I do find your explanations about the earths ancient formation fascinating. That was some good exercise you had showing us that ‘imitation volcano’ , those strange rock piles near the end of the episode almost looked like walls of ancient buildings.(giants playground). Africa has so many different stories.
This is one of our favorite episodes. My wife and I hike deserts and get the heat, wind and elevation changes of high desert country. Itchy embraced all of it to experience the great reward of magnificent views and sense of accomplishment at the end of a long day. Outstanding video.
I really missed your broadcasts over the past week. Three years ago my wife and I did an 8000km trip through Namibia, mostly tent camping but our first stop from South Africa was Keetmanshoop and we stayed at the same B&B you are staying in the Quiver Inn. You are really going to love Namibia, a great country.

Wish i could've seen this two years ago😢.. Brukaros is the mountain i watch growing up.. thank you for exploring it... i know you still out exploring and i wish you all the best and i pray that you return home safely❤❤.. much love and appreciation from Namibia 🇳🇦
If I'd seen this while you still in the south of Namibia, i would've advice you to check a place just next to Brukaros that has hot water naturally.. that would've blown your mind😢.. the colder it is, the hotter the water gets.. that would've been a cool spot to explore
A great episode in which you do a difficult walk to show us a caldera. You explain how it was formed. Very interesting. It must have been an amazing explosion! My word, you work so hard for each episode. Thank you so much, Noraly.
Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing adventure Noraly! You certainly provide a lot of detailed info about these locations you take us to. It is so interesting to see and hear about a different side of the countries you travel to. Every video you produce outdoes the last.

Such an interesting amazing adventure you are doing. I’ve only just started watching you’re videos (today)since you entered Namibia from South Africa. I shall be watching many more
I continue to learn so much from you. Here in New Mexico USA we have had lots of volcanic and other geologic activity. There is a caldera north of where I live and your explanation of what a caldera is is the best explanation I've had. Thanks. Be well.
Seems like no place in Namibia looks like any place in the Netherlands. Could use more water. Strange beauty. Doesn’t look like this in Ottawa, either! What a toughie this woman is. Glad that her bike starts every time and carries her around reliably…so we can see more of these crazy places. Carry on, Noraly.
Namibia looks like another planet altogether. And I have never learned so much about my own country (South Africa) as I did now. With my own list of cool places I would love to see some day in my earthly life, the places you have been to spark a lot of new found interest in me
Noraly, I am constantly blown away with where you take us. “There was not one other person”, that is something you say all the time. That is because you bring us to where most don’t go obviously, LOL, and I appreciate that more than I can ever say. Yes, it was a harrowing trip and I wish you hadn’t had to experience it but nevertheless, thank you! I just absolutely love you!😁👍💞🦋🌈✨
That is the farthest you have ever hiked from your bike to explore so I knew it was going to be good. Quite the rock scramble. The Giant's Playground is one of the most unique landscapes I have ever seen.

Thanks for taking me places where if am totally honest i probably wouldnt dare go myself. Huge respect for what you do and the way you do it.

@@tetedur377 OK...... you guys got me, where is this so called "community tab"?
@@tetedur377 thanks Tete Dur (aka "hard head" lol) now I know. Some folks think everyone should know this but it's not even on the TH-cam "home page". Now I will check this when I'm worried about a vlogger on TH-cam. Take care!
Watching all your previous videos in between the latest trip to Turkey. When I first saw these rocks on screen they reminded me of `Giants Causeway' in Ireland. I`m no geologist but it seems to me the Giants Playground is similar. Another fascinating and informative video. Can`t get enough. Nice one Noraly.
Magnificent trip today to the caldera and the surrounding interesting but desolate moonscape. Your hike almost brought on a panic attack in me as you ventured so close to the edge of the path. Was relieved to see Savannah waiting for you.
6:16 "Flintstones" :) 14:31 That's what Yellowstone Park will look like someday. Hopefully, not in my lifetime! Thanks for that interesting story, Noraly!
