      Thanks mate and sorry for the late reply. Hope your project goes well. I’ve done some more updates but just haven’t had time to edit and post the videos. Hopefully will do soon

    Hey mate, what do you call the connectors that you use to splice into the wire? They are fabulous but I cannot find them online to purchase some for myself

      Thank you mate. They are called 'T tap wire connectors' and are really good when doing stuff like that. You can find them on Amazon - just type in T tap wire connectors.
      Hope that helps

    Are you reverse sensors linked to head unit ?

    • @sanjdesigns
      @sanjdesigns  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi mate, the reversing sensor were installed by the previous owner using an aftermarket kit. This is activated using the reverse light signal wire (green and black). The pioneer head unit uses an input signal from the reversing light and there is no output signal so I don’t think it will trigger the reverse sensors. Hope that helps

    Can you use pioneer head unit with aftermarket cameras?
    I’ve got one and wired it up same as you but get no signal

      Not entirely sure, but can’t see why not as it’s just power and signal. Recommend you double check the connections and also check the setting in the head unit as you need to select the camera in order for it to display. Hope that helps mate

      @IIWilkesyx that’s great news. Was it the settings or connections in the end?

    Fairly crap image quality on the pioneer, we have two exact cameras and my mate has a chinese android unit and his quality is far superior, I had to cut a cable and use a different standard signal otherwise no image at all

      Don't disagree about the image quality on the pioneer mate. It could be better, but to be honest it's fairly old tech, and I'm happy with it as it's better than no camera at all!

      @@sanjdesigns sure, much better than nothing and the wiring is more/less universal when new unit goes in
