Hi! I would take the Motion 300 I think out of those 2… but, honestly, the Tribit is definitely my favourite out of all these. I sent all these speakers back at the time but have since then bought one of the Tribit Stormbox Flows again and really like it 👍👍
considering that I listen to more rock in all its variants...and knowing that the motion 300 is equalizable with the application. Is it better to choose this one?
Hmmmm that’s a tricky one to answer as everyone’s audio preference is going to be personal to some extent. I actually forgot to say as I was in a rush with this vid, the Soundcore is the only one with stereo speakers built in and when you’re listening very close up to the speaker (like within about a metre) it makes a difference to sound quality over the others and you do get some stereo effect. I’d advise you buy the speakers from Amazon like I did (if that’s possible for you?), test and compare them and keep the one you like best.
The tribit stormbox 2 released recently for £38 Intro price is better speaker. It actually less bass but has more nicer bass it has more definition clarity especially at 60 to 90 percent. I have the original too which is actually good as a bike bottle holder speaker. Admittedly i have Poweramp music app so that will up its sound quality when you fiddle around the many equalizer options.
Yes I saw the version 2 is available - I should’ve tried that one! I didn’t look into separate EQ apps in my vid as I thought it might complicate the review too much 🤷♂️
Great review. I just bought 2 of the tribit stormbox micro 2. And i thought that they sounded awesome in stereo for little hockey pucks, lol. But now u have me thinking i should try the stormbox flow. I dont mind that its a little bit bigger then the micro 2. Its still very portable. Does the flow sound much better then the micro 2 ??? I also like that i could change the presets on the speaker without having to go back to the app. Because i switch back and forth from music to podcasts. Any info u can give me is appreciated. Ray
Thanks for the great comments, and very pertinent to what I went through as well: I recently bought another Stormbox Flow and am currently using that instead of the Micro, and it’s fantastic! Amazing battery life, having the 3 presets button is something I use often (cut off that booming bass when listening to audiobooks in my echoey bathroom, etc) & it sounds very very good: the depth and warmth of the bass is far better than on any of the other speakers in this size range. Also, when I bought the Flow this time it’s had another firmware update and now sounds better out of the box than previously. It’s still fun to play around and save your own EQs though. Yeah, I highly recommend the flow 👍 Let me know if you get one and what you think! 🙂
Couldn't agree more regarding the Stormbox Flow. Specifically for reggae music, that's the way to go. Kills it with the bass....amazingly given its only one driver/mono. 👍🏻

Thank you - these were all pretty good speakers - the older tribit stormbox (not the Stormbox Flow) was a bit of a let down compared to the others but some folks have said a new version 2 is out which is better, but i'd have been happy enough with any of the other ones :o)
Ah yes, sorry, I have seen that one online - I think I was thinking the 4 was the 3 and that there must be a new version (4) - i dunno?! Although I haven’t heard it in the flesh. I think I discounted it due to its slightly lower battery life 🤷♂️
Tribit still sounds ok laid on its back, but the Soundcore motion 300 has sensors built in so its adjusts the sound depending on the speaker’s orientation which is a nice feature the Tribit doesn’t have.
Ha ha, I think a lot of copying goes on from the Chinese companies… That Tribit Flow is a dead-ringer for the Bose… can’t believe they get away with it really!
@@accoutrements4469 at least tribit does that better than the others. And they don't completely copy them. They do offer a way better battery life and eq support. Tribit are actually good, and not like lots of other crap like tronsmart and Wloser

yes motion 300 got one love it I listen to rock n metal mostly sounds great out of box set you own EQ and wow sounds awesome

It does sound good - it’s a really decent speaker! I did prefer the JBL myself but nothing wrong with the W-King really 🙂
